Sometimes to much knowledge can hide behind the real issues

Better to protest early rather than too late. A reputation for being demanding of honesty and first class communications is hardly a crime, particularly when it comes from the main source of revenues for the Club.

Quality and integrity in the message and how it is communicated is what matters!

Also if the Malaysians distrust Ridsdale as much as we are led to believe, then a protest against the Chairman couldn't possibly do any harm?

i have known steve borley for years we actually sat together in c block for years before he became chairman.
i would trust anything steve does implicitly remember we are comparing a guy here who filled the corners of the stadium with seats paid for out of his own pocket a guy who has promised potential investors that he will not pursue the 1.5 million that the club owes his company in these trying and turbelant times for the club.
weigh that up against a chairman who has not invested a single penny of his own money into this footbal club but has taken monies out in personal bonuses when the club could ill afford it.
If steve asks us to wait until the end of january before demonstating then there is a very genuine reason for doing so i just hope the majority of fans can wait a little bit longer before venting their justified anger on this wholly unwanted chairman

Top post Steve, totally agree with you. Your speaking a lot of sense :ayatollah:

I'm sure Borley's a fine chap, but this isn't about a major investor taking over the club. It's more likely a cash injection of £3 million or so, in exchange for shares [at a good price], so that the club can carry on for another 6 months.

Annis, So did Steve say why the Malaysians are waiting until February, are they waiting for Administration?

Alex mun, you dont become one o fthe richest man/men/organisations in the workd just sitting around. The Malaysians know what they are doing. If they want us they will get us....on there own terms.

I do not believe we are going to make an iota of a difference if we demonstate. However if we are then lets make it reasonable. If we demonstrate now we open ourselves up to making ourselves look stupid. If we demonstrate after the 1st Feb when we expect new players but dont get anyone then we are seen as having a good reason. That could be enough for the Malaysians to then get behind us.

FFS guys its only another week, be patient and do the right thing.

well we are fast becoming known as a bunch of indecisive pratt's.
banners-----no banners
chants------no chants
demonstrations -------no demonstrations.
will someone please grow a set of balls and decide what is happening, and bloody stick to it.

Rob, I only said what Borley said, I am not agreeing with it, I still believe in Banners.

I'm all for supporting SB but tbh I'm not too sure about this 1st Feb date - as far as I'm concerned we'll know before saturdays game whether we've paid the tax bill   because the Riddler will shout it from the rooftops.

If he hasn't paid it by then, there's no players coming in by Feb 1st anyway and, for me, that gives me the justification to play bollox with the Yorkshire fella

Far too much talking and not enough action has happened, when people are ready to demonstrate, give me a shout, I just hope its not too late by the time we do.

Feb 1st has always been the water-shed date for the fans. Anything before that date is premature. As DJ has said he wants to have bought 2 and got 2 on loan by that date. For that to happen we all know that other things must happen beforehand. Come Feb 1st we all will know the situation and fans can then make up their minds on the Rizla.

As far as I am concerned I'm with SB on this one. I hope the Malaysians take over because they have far more financial clout!

StT.

Reluctantly, I am with you on this one Steve. That doesn't mean that no preparations can't be made so that a shit storm can be launched by the fans on Feb 1st.

Come on City fans and Borley together we can get rid of this lying b*stard.

I think that an investor with good intentions will appreciate fans that have a considered view and can coordinate positively for the Club that they love. Protest now I say, but do it with some quality, proper coordination and above all, a clear set of messages. To my mind, this is why the CCST exists...

You have got to respect Steve Borley. He is a better postion than most and knows whats going on behind closed doors. But what outcome from a demo is he so afraid of that he as asked for calm twice?

Cant see it putting off the Malysians as they want PR from there now. Only thing I can think of is that PR knows its coming and that somehow it will play into PR hands and he will spin it around to make it out that deals(that i beileve arent on the table) have collapsed because of it.
