Are you suggesting repeating that line up, by dropping McPhail for Burke is impossible?

I'm suggesting that you're a bit of an idiot.
If your logic is as you suggest, then Whittingham is ahead of Burke, and McPhail is ahead of Whittingham.

Why are people so annoyed at McPhail anyway? It wasn't his decision to play, and he was one of our best players before his illness.

I'm the idiot (personal abuse noted) tell me what's the score at present? Oh by the way your logic is a bit suspect, McPhail one of our better players BEFORE his illness, remind me how many did he score up until then?

Doesn't that count as personal abuse?

Yeah, sorry about that, I'll blame the 'bow.

Tony, I apologise for saying you're an idiot. I just think that it's a bit unfair having a go at McPhail.

Why is that funny? I thought this board wasn't supposed be about snipers but about opinion. I don't think calling someone an 'idiot' is respecting opinion or is that previllage reserved for the favoured few?

Just seemed a bit petty,

His opinion was that you seemed a bit of an idiot, in the same way you thought his comments were stupid.

I said his 'remark' was stupid because Burke and McPhail's playing positions didn't relate to the point I was making. Burke could have played instead of McPhail if Whittingham had been moved central, something which happened in the previous game vs Doncaster. Therefore I was justified in claiming the 'remark' was stupid but not the person.

However, he replied with "I'm suggesting that you're a bit of an idiot" which was a direct personal insult. The logic for doing so had nothing to do with my opinion, it was something he completely made up without clarifying whether that was my position first.

Finally you thought it a good idea to then mock me personally because I chose to stand up for myself. You might think that's 'petty' but there again abusers always do.

Appology accepted and in the light of good will I appologise for using the stupid remark post (it was a poor response), although I didn't in any way intended it as personal.

You are wound up by Bow I'm wound up by 3-0 and seeing a repeat of last season. As for McPhail it is probably is a bit unfair to blame him now after one game against Newcastle, but its just the same thing has happened for the past 4 years and I'm sick of it.
