Annis has said himself it's all in the book anyway, if you're going to make money out of it and sell it as a hooligan book surely you can't have it both ways

No, it was the "Anus" comment that i was referring too.

Evening, to buck the trend of the "he has no balls" comments everyone throws around, I thought I'd come to you and post.

GG knows me, yet I haven't been a student for 3 years, so clearly he's been on the sparkling water.

corky wrote:I have had arguments with this WElsh dragon clown who started that thread...he is either Peter Ridsdale or someone working for the club...no doubt about it.

Corky, you can call me a clown if you like, I actually posted a big reply to you on that site after you asked me to, and you politely ignored it. Generally people indifferent to the Trust won't be won around by ignoring their questions, you only had to answer the couple, and they weren't unfair questions. But never mind!!

I couldn't work for the club, I'd not want to take a wage given the current state and therefore couldn't live off the job as much as I'd love to. If I were PR, I'm sure I'd have better things to do.

To clarify, my post wanted to know why people would support Annis over the club. Not an unfair question? It was there to be answered, just happens some people who did answer it started trying to make it Annis vs PR - again not my initial point or question.

Also, in another post elsewhere I said I knew very little about Annis and simply quoted the top search result on google which was BBC calling him a hooligan. As you sell books on it, and BBC is reporting it, I don't think me quoting them was unreasonable either?

And to finally put the issue to rest, I think the future of our club is without PR at the helm, I've said many a time he'll go to become some behind a desk figure when the new owners finally move in (whoever they may be) and will leave after a month as most outgoing chairmen tend to do. What I have said, is I think removing PR now is a mistake. Minimum he should go in the Summer because just promoting someone from the existing board doesn't solve our money problems.

Anyway, I couldn't care less what people think, and whether they actually read my posts or assume I'm somehow pro PR all the way, but I do want to know the above question of whether Annis actually thinks posing the initial question and quoting BBC is unfair... because those of you who have come to the other site and posted seem to feel it is... I beg to differ. Maybe you'll reply, unlike Corky.

Re: Hooligan

PS. Actually agree the 'Anus' posts were stupid, but then that wasn't me so I'm not apologising for others on that site. I would enjoy seeing them trying to say it to his/your face.

Welsh dragon - somebody asked you to provide evidence for your claim in the poll that :-

"The protest is being publicised by people who seem more interested in causing trouble with the police constantly being mentioned (why if its a peaceful protest??)"

Is it still your assertion " being publicised by people who seem more interested in causing trouble with the police"?

I'd suggest next time you spout off on the internet you understand laws of libel and defamation...

This march/demo isnt about supporting Annis, Annis is one of many people behind this demo and behind it for all the right reasons in their own opinions.

You have become obsessed with Annis and lost the aims of those behind the demo.

I might also add that rather than accept another City fans choice to demonstrate you have done nothing but slate them. I am one of the public faces organising the demo, someone you called violent Hooligans intent on trouble with the police if i remember rightly before your post was edited.Yet I havent got one Football conviction to my name and have time and time gaain publicised this as "Peaceful Protest"

Thats a different issue to the one I've posted about, and doesn't actually involve anyone here - unless you were the people posting said remarks over the weekend/end of last week? PS. The Rhooster - same applies to you. Not aimed at you unless it was you who posted said remarks?

utter crap im afraid Welshdragon, you posted a poll about the demo, and on that you said it was being the public faces organising it are known football Hooligans intent on trouble with the police.Be specific if you are singling certain people out.Unless your on some sort of agenda yourself??

Nope I said headed by known hooligan - see 1st post, and that there were people intent on trouble with the police - see 2nd post.

All I'd say is if those people mentioned in the 2nd post, weren't from here, you should be careful who is doing the advertising of this march because bar 1 decent poster they are the only people who have advertised it on that 'official' site, and they've made clear their own intentions. I'm not saying its you, I'm saying its not making your march look good when idiots are going round saying stuff like that. They may have been little kids, but the end result is the same in terms of how it looks.

Again, call me all the names under the sun, I'm saying people have joined that message board and made comments about trouble with the police linked to the march, which I replied to. No trouble - great. If you're not intending on causing any - my comments don't involve you in the slightest so I don't see your problem.

In which case, stop the idiots going round boasting they're going to start some. Whether they mean it or whether they're kids bigging themselves up.

Re: Hooligan

Tue Mar 02, 2010 6:43 pm

Has anybody here got the advert that went into the papers about the protest, because from memory it says "peaceful protest". If anybody has got it, stick it up here for our friend to read and maybe he will then stop associating it with hooliganism. It has nothing at all to do with hooliganism. It is to do with making a protest to the board and shareholders at the financial missmanagement of our football club.

No, it was the "Anus" comment that i was referring too.

Seen as this was brought to my attention I may as well reply.

I did not back pedal at all.
I dont know Annis but form people who do know him seem to think he is a decent guy including those who I go to games with who do know him. Personally I have no interest in him but then why would I? Just like I have little interest in speaking to a lot of people on message boards.

I dont know who made the "Anus" comment but it wasnt me anyway :geek:

If you had read my messages anyway you would know although I have no interest in going on the protest I have continually said I can understand why people are going on it.

IMO it wont solve any problems so I wont be going but the key point is that the vast majority who are going on the protest are doing so because they believe it can help the club. I have no problem with the protest or Annis so im not really quite sure what I was back pedalling on.

I think all the tit for tat that has come back and for is pretty petty, unhelpful myself
I also think its pretty sad its splitting the fans when it has no need too.

Thats life I guess but we all just have to hope whatever happens is for the good of the club.

I've seen it. You have 1 decent poster on that other site promoting the march. As for the rest on there I say again:
