I had a nasty experiance, was driving home from snowdon, after walking up there with the RAMS few years ago

anyway driving down the lovley a470 around 70mph and a landrover pulled out and smash, bad accident and walked out unharmed, but all i remembered just before we hit, was like smoke but in a shape of hands and it pushed me back into my seat , then impact came and i didn't feel a thing, i noticed engine was around 2cm from my front leggs, then i just got out, no smoke, no fire etc , very strange, i do remember the landrover on its passenger back wheel spiining through the air lol

then when a few weeks later somone close went to see a medium, somone came through and discribed my red car, where the accident happened and said "she was with you, and somthing about she did her best to help me, im lucky" . apprently was my nan who i never met, but all i remmeber is these giant white hands hold me down in my seat

Seen one in Butlines (Minehead) about 5-6 years ago (when I was 14-15)

Funnily enough we saw it in a kid's 'play area' (it's in the shape of a wooden fort... a bit like this: http://www.freewebs.com/minehead151/playarea.jpg... I don't think that's the one in Butlines minehead though)

Anywhoo, we were out that night at around 9pm and of course the fort thing was empty. They usually locked up the gates around it so no-one could get in, but that night they'd forgot to.

So we went in and started climbing to the top of the fort. We were going up a ladder and I was first up.

I got to the top and there was a ghost about 6-7 yards away from me (I can't remember exactly what he looked like; he was male though). My mate was 2nd up the ladder and saw it too.

We crapped ourselves lol and ran like heck.

Had never seen a ghost before that and never have since... I wasn't sure if I believed in them before that night, but of course I do now.

I haven't, but my father in law did many moons ago. My brother in law and a few mates had a night out in the Queen of Hearts in Nelson so my father in law went to pick him and a few of his mates up in the van at the end of the night. He was living in Abertridwr at the time so his father decided to go home over ther mountain down towards Senghenydd then on to Abertridwr or so he thought  . Anyway as they reached the top of the mountain, all the lads in the back were having a laugh then all of a sudden they started falling about all over the place banging heads against the side of the van and falling over each other and my father in law was driving like a maniac screaming his f*cking head off all the way back to Senghenydd. Anyway he got as far as sneggy square got out of the van and my brother in law could see him running like f**k down the road towards Abertridwr  So my brother in law got home to Abertridwr after a bit of a walk. He went to see his dad who was still ashen faced  . He said while they were laughing in the back of the van, my father in law was also laughing at them until he turned to his left and saw a ghost sat in the passenger seat laughing with them  His laughs soon turned to screams and he turned into one of the best rally drivers you could ever wish to meet    suffice to say he promptly sold the van  I never get fed up of listening to that story and my father in law is now 84 years old

months later we where at my mums looking through photos my daughter had never seen, she immediately picked one up and said "dad this is the man" it was a photo of my dads dad (who died when i was 6) in his bus driver uniform complete with slickback hair and shiny buttons . she has this pic by her bed now, and he still visits her.

That is strange Rob because when I was younger I used to tell my mum that I had conversations with my grandpa. He died before I knew him and when my mum asked who I was talking to I pointed to a photo of him in a random album of photos.

I've also had a few experiences where I've woken up in the night and just felt that someone was in my room. So much so that I even asked who was there and at first thought it was my housemate but when he said he slept all night it started to freak me out.

I've heard too many stories and experienced too much to not believe in ghosts. It may just be light echoing from the past or something rational that hasn't been scientifically explained yet but I definietly believe in apparitions.

My Gran died recently and she lived in a flat in a sheltered housing complex and she hated the woman who lived upstairs from her. A few days after she passed away, my Mum was round my gran's flat sorting things out and the woman from upstairs came in to have a nose around. On the sideboard was a photo of my nieces and, when the woman my gran hated said she liked my gran's sofa, the picture of my nieces slammed face down on the sideboard. There was no wind and nothing fell on it to make it fall over. My mum also went round a day or 2 later, she found my gran's bedroom light on. She knows she didn't put it on and the other 2 people who had keys hadn't been near the place for days.

So I do now believe that people's spirits or souls do still exist in a sort of limbo between life and death until they are cremated
