i've already said why monk earlier in the thread

ive heard stories thats alls not well.laudrup doesnt speak in training and the spanish fitness coach doesnt speak english.hope its not true for our premier team.

They will need more than a monk to stay up next season, there going to need a miracle.

Apparently all is not well down west and I am hearing on the grapevine that Laudrup was involved in a bust up in the States and that Monk is in talks to takeover as Swansea manager.

Has anyone else heard this ?

Heard the same in the sauna down the Esporta gym just outside Swansea, I was there with my dad. Didn't hear the part about Monk though

I said fromthe start that Laudrup was a poor choice for them and would probablyu take them down as well as reverting to Sousa style football. A very arrogant man despite his obvious playing talent and it seems obvious that the players don't like him, Cue mass departures I think...

However, although he plays for a rival, I fail to see why there is animosity towards Monk who unlike the idiot that is Tate, has always been fairly praiseworthy towards us. He's a half decent gootballer too - don't see why we should be giving it to him just because he is a jack.

Personally I think Carl is on a wind up. However huw the spews luck in appointing managers may have run out. Martinez was an inspired choice (massive risk at time). Sousa was poor but he did sort out defence and lay foundations for brenda. How Leicester wanted him is a joke and fairplay to jerks for getting compo for him. Rodgers did a good job-alot was down to links with chelsea and sousa's defense work coupled with Martinez good work. Had Sinclair and Borini not signed I doubt that they would have gone up. Rodgers will fail at scouseland (horrible club). Swansea have done well to get huge cash out of this deal.

Laudrup was a top player but top players don't always make top managers. He will attract good players to the liberty but if allen goes they will really struggle to play their passing game especially without caulker. Next season will be tough with qpr much better plus wet spam, reading and saints very competitive. Hopefully the jerks will go down but they won't go down as easily as we would like.
