Any danger that there may be a week when people on both sides of the divide stop having a 'my dad's cock is bigger than yours' debate
We are both but small skid marks on the giant pan that is football chaps

The League Cup is not a major trophy. What a whopper you are.
Only 3 major trophies a British team can obtain.
The PL trophy
The CL trophy
The FA cup
Now sod off with your mickey mouse mug.

It's a major trophy.
Barnetts not a Cardiff fan, he only goes to see the big games every season. A closet plastic Liverpool fan for sure.

To be fair, if he did, who can blame him
I never understand why the 'Jacks' want to come on to this site (other than it is obviously 100 times more interesting than their own sites
) but they do...and they take a lot of stick for it too, which is as it should be
But remember , this 'stick' runs both ways and we have to accept that sometimes the brown stuff we dish out will fly back at us in the wind
This is one such occasion and I actually found it amusing that he remembered the post, as it must have hurt them (the Jacks) at the time

The league cup is a major trophy. The sad c**t on here is jackf who trawled this forum looking for an 8 month old thread. Get a life you sad, jack wanker!

Feck me not the brightest lot are you. Have a look on another cracking thread about Gary Monk being our next manager another CArL exclusive and you will see in it a link to this thread. I clicked the link it took me to this thread and I posted something in it. Hope that is clear enough for even the thickest of the red army.

I don't know, maybe beating Liverpool and Chelsea on their way to a trophy in their second Premier League year counts as success. We would probably get hammered 4-0 by both these teams.
To be honest, I think the play off final trophy was a pretty major trophy, you know, considering we bottled it in one of the easiest play off finals we could've had.
Swansea are better, no need to get bitter.

Bollox most other teams treat it as a reserves training match, and they parked the bus against Chelsea and got the 28 year old ball nobs to jump on the balls and not give it back, it's a shit competition ........ If we had ignored it last season, we may have gone up last year ?????

Nah it's a joke, most clubs play their reserves, including us from now on
Fri Apr 26, 2013 5:37 pm
That's because you're including the Welsh cup which for the majority of years would hardly be described as a first team game. . Try league games only.
what, are you saying they dont count? they are classed as competitive matches played so they count wether you like it or not. any match between us and you counts as its a derby.
bet you wouldnt object so much if they were in your favour.
Hey, feel free to include them if you like. I'll stick to league games where both sides would have been playing their strongest team.
It's not because you were playing weaker teams, if anything we were...
It's because you were a weaker team in a lower league, as we have been in a higher position thn you for most of the last 100 years, nice try but the stats from competitive games are right, even though it doesn't suit your argument
Fri Apr 26, 2013 5:42 pm
I'm sure your record against us in Welsh cup games is a great comfort to you as we look forward to another season in the Premier League
So will we
, with triangular corner flags like all the other big teams, ManU, Chelsea, Man City etc
Fri Apr 26, 2013 5:48 pm
A trophy is only major if the major clubs give a crap about. Man United, etc. etc. all fielded weakened teams coz they dont really care.
There are only 3 major trophies so face it as its the truth - Premier League, CL, FA Cup - THE TREBLE.
Then there is the next tier of trophies - Liverpools level - League cup, Europa League, etc.
Then theres the next level - Championship winners etc. and so on.
So whilst Swansea League Cup was a bigger coup than our trophy this season it and I will admit that it has nothing on our FA Cup win in 1927.
When Swansea win one of the 3 major trophies I will accept it and I will congratulate them okay because it will be earned.
Anyone putting the League Cup in the same bracket as the prestigious and world recognised FA Cup is a whopper of the highest order. Only a Jack would make such a ludicrous claim. Congratulations on winning the League Cup, it may be major for you as you're a relatively small club in comparison to whats out there but its not in the bigger picture and neither is our Championship win. Our Championship win is massive for us because of the story to obtain it and the path and journey we've been on and the sense of relief. Its not however a major honour in the bigger picture and grand scheme of things.
Face the facts.

Absolutely clueless. I'd be chuffed to bits if we won it, and you think the bigger teams play full strength sides in the FA cup? Do me a favour.
Fri Apr 26, 2013 6:10 pm
It's a major trophy and you all know it.Not the most important ,but one of the domestic majors nonetheless.I've heard Gary Linekar say it on MOTD and read it umpteen times in the papers so some Redtit saying it aint on here carries no weight at all.

Exactly, it's all about perspective. Big Trophy to Man U? Unlikely but to those in the bracket below yes. Putting a club into Europe that not many years ago was about to leave the Football League. Yes.
I maintain it would have been bigger for Cardiff to win it than Swansea (Championship club vs top half-Prem club) but that's neither here nor there.

So would I but thats coz we are a small club in respect to the grand scheme of things. United haven't a care in the world for the League Cup but they do the FA Cup.
