What future protests?

What form will they take? What will their aims and objectives be? How will they be organised?

Why do you have to be Sarcastic to everyone.

TBH TLG you just don't get the engaging with the membership bit at all. Rather than play the victim card why not step back and ask yourself I'm I receiving fair critisim?

I accept that you can't please everyone all the time, there are plenty of times when people in authority fail to see their mistakes because they are stubborn (much like Mr Ridsdale)

The clever representatives are not the ones who delude themselves they are never wrong, the cliever representatives are those who adapt by learning from their mistakes, but to do that you have to accept you have made them in the first place.

Honest opinion.

Tony, I do this work for nothing. It takes up many, many hours every week and I'm sick to f*cking death of it. Two years of it has been more than enough for me. The rewards are nil and the abuse is almost constant. I feel like I'm wasting my time.

I'd be absolutely delighted if someone stepped forward to replace me, as would several other members of the current Trust board. Let's hope it happens, eh?

Sadly, though, it's far more likely that people like you will continue to tell me what a wanker I am, but when push comes to shove they won't step forward and offer to do the job themselves.

That's not f*cking sarcastic! That's a straightforward question!

How the hell could I say if the Trust is likely to back any future protests without knowing what form they will take? Besides which, any decision about whether to back a protest will be made by the Trust board, not me alone.

I'd have a lie down if I were you. All that walking must be tiring.

Walking is in itself physical exercise. It is quite tiring.

Next failed retort?

I seem to recall you posting on CCMB you didn't originally stand for it due to lack of time. I seem to recall in the same conversation it was mentioned the steering committee persuaded you to stand ( in the process engineering the situation ) saying it was a small amount of work.

The rewards are nil and the abuse is almost constant.

Could there not be a lesson for you to take from that? Like maybe question if your "persona" may be somewhat responsible?

I'd be absolutely delighted if someone stepped forward to replace me, as would several other members of the current Trust board.

Is that a tacit admission several other members of the current trust board would like to see you replaced?

Sadly, though, it's far more likely that people like you will continue to tell me what a wanker I am, but when push comes to shove they won't step forward and offer to do the job themselves.

If a lot of people tell you you're a wanker, may you should look within yourself to see if there's a reason for that. Clue; "I'm right, they are wrong" isn't the correct answer.

Your point is however somewhat devalued. You naively assume those critical of you and the Trust believe the Trust is the way forward. Why should those stand to represent an entity they don't believe in?

So well put Nerd.

I have better things to do than call TLG a wanker and for the first 18 months of the Trust's existance I just happily paid my dues and didn't give them a secound thought whilst they pottered on with their diversity days etc.

However, these are exceptional times in the history of CCFC and the club could be gone in 8 weeks. All the talking has been done its time to make the call NOW rather than use the same methods as Ridsdale reversing the blame and telling us what a great job you are doing.

TLG all we ask is that you do the right thing and get behind the rest of us and fight for this clubs existance.

Can I just point out that the ORIGINAL POSTER has not yet received a direct reply from any members of The Trust, TLG has been so caught up with retorting to other posts that G.R.A. (original poster and A TRUST MEMBER) hasn't had the answers to his questions.

I think that maybe The Trust has now lost the plot.

Re: THE TRUST

i have to be honest here guys i used to think that annis and tlg were two sides of the same coin annis with his direct action stance and tlg spokesman for the trust the lets wait and see before we respond attitude both in there way right but events have moved on to such an extent that in my lowly view they could never work together there has been a total loss of respect by each other for each others view

can you both not see that come may the 5th there might not be a trust to work within also annis we may lose cardiff city football club as an entity

so in an honest statement here can we not rip the piss out off each other for the next 8 weeks ffs we might not have a club to support in its current form risdale and co must be laughing at all of us when they see the sniping at each other if you cant work together or agree on a plan that offers the strongest view to the board that shows how unhappy we as fans are then at least dont have a go on different message boards it just shows how divided we really are and that plays stright into certain peoples hands

by the by i did attend the march as that was my only outlet to show the board my feelings
NEVER FORGET WE ALL LOVE CARDIFF CITY FOOTBALL CLUB

The Trust was supposed to be FOR supporters and a means of organising ourselves, but has turned into a PERSONAL VEHICLE for the most narcissistic of our 'SUPPORT'.

A complete joke and the sooner it is abandoned the better.

The statement is the funniest thing I've read in ages. Talk about fiddling while Rome burns, Completely empty words and you can almost see The Riddler LAUGHING HIS HEAD OFF when he read it.

Makes us look like fools. Makes me feel a fool reading it.

Well he wasn't laughing when we marched and even got Borley to make personal pleas. He didn't like it at all. THAT is what gets you taken seriously. Not going up the clubhouse for beer and sandwiches and getting all cosy with those trying to f**k US.

Re: THE TRUST

"any decision about whether to back a protest will be made by the Trust board, not me alone."

And there-in lies the problem. Why is the board making these decisions. The membership should be BALLOTTED.

If a majority backed a protest you would state as such and continue to allow freedom of thought to those who didn't which to protest.

If 90% didn't back a protest you would state as such. People may disagree with the Trust's stance, and individuals could still take action if they wished to do so.

Either way the Trust would be respected far far more, because instead of having a mini house of commons where an egotistical elite are making the important decisions, the MEMBERS would have their say.
