Does Malky remember a player on his books he signed called Craig Conway? Natural winger who looked sharp as pre-season unlike Cowie a centre mid playing instead of him numerous times.
Big test of Malky Saturday for me, feel he worries far too much about the opposition away from home- with the squad he has now he should go to grounds saying this is us deal with it.Also hope Smith is fit as Kev plays far better when Smith is in front of him as he holds the width not drifting inside all the time.
I fear 4-5-1 and poor Helguson isolated up front. Ipswich are down the bottom we should not fear them at all
Completely agree with you. With the wingers we have this season there is no way that Cowie should ever play out wide again. Also, it's no good swapping formations home and away. Players should be allowed to get used to developing patterns of play in a system that suits them. We have incredible attacking options so we should fear no one....home and away.
noone should not be dropped to the bench in my opinion this week... he should start. he will get ipswich on the back foot from the start.

People's obsession with Cowie is odd.
He played wide and well nearly all of last season. No he isn't a winger but if MM wants to make the centre a bit tighter he is ideal and can score a goal. His goal against palace was quality? If Witts had scores it people would have been raving

Thats bad news for Wales then , but CCFC can cope without him if it is indeed true .

It's not odd mate it's quite simple he plays
WIDE but gives us anything but width. He constantly drifts inside congesting an already packed middle of the park then putting more pressure on Kev to bomb forward, Kev can't pass water so this puts extra pressure on him.
It's nothing personal but fact is the bar has been raised a lot higher this summer and Cowie is a decent centre mid. It's ridiculous that he plays/comes on so many times over people like Conway etc and I think fans like myself are rather sick of it to be perfectly honest. To be a success wide you either need to beat a man or can bend a cross in around the full back- he can do neither.
Kiss, Ralls and Conway (Kimbo in time) are all better players than him it just frustrates the hell out of me to be perfectly honest.
Every manager has their favourites and boy do we know Malky's!

Is Bells injured ? And as for the son of Malky he is not has never been a winger. As a central midfielder he is very underrated. As for Conway has he shagged Malky's Mrs or something ? I do wonder if the gaffer is going to go cautious on Saturday ? I hope not let this team off the leash is my view.

Six players who can play on the wings at the club i bet cowie starts out there. I like him in the middle where hes played most of his football over the years but wouldnt see the point in him out wide if we got players who played there all there lifes sat on the bench, i got it last season as we had nobody to pick in terms of wide players really but we have now so i find it strnage why he would be playing a wing role if thats what you call it when hes playing to me it seems he comes inside always drifting in the middle for some strange reason. As for bellers i wonder whats wrong with him now , stubbed toe or has he goty a cold comming jesus more days off than sick note himself. If mm goes in to this game 4-5-1 i will be pissed off there rite down there in the dumbs are ipswich so anything defensive and we will get beat its that simple, go for it

A player can't help being injured?
We all know he can't play 3 games in one week anyway.

Whether CB39 is playing or not Malky should not fear Ipswich and we should go for the throat.
It's Ipswich who should be cautious - We're top of the league FFS

True - it's Malky that needs telling!

Got a bad feeling home win

I think we need to sort out CB39's head as well as his body. A two week break will do him fine.
My worry is Whitts, we ran him into the ground last season. Malky will need to be brave this season and drop him for his (our) own good. It would be a good "treat" to miss a 8 hour round trip coach journey, but I doubt we will do it until Mutch is fit and Kimbo is up to speed.

Velikonja needs to be given a chance..MM needs to show some faith in him, we may need him soon so he needs game time..
