Is it because he isn't good enough? NO is it because lambert fell out with him? Possibly but unlikely as they are struggling so bad even if he had it would be time for humble pie to be eaten, the reason why is cos if he appears in the league again villa will allegedly owe Sunderland another £8-10m, with bent on a reported £80k a week again alledgedly why is it so silly to say that he would join the championship on loan? Why would villa want to keep paying him when he could go out on loan? And say us pick up £40k a week?? That way they'd save half his wages which would help as he ain't playing league games, and secondly why would villa want a proven premier league goalscorer going to their relegation rivals? Answer is they wouldn't!
Not so ridiculous after all although I admit it is a long shot
