Yet you claimed that if the bluebird went, you'd stop supporting?
Even though it's only a emblem?
Just playing devil's advocate here.
A colour and emblem are two different things entirely. Nike ain't Nike without the Nike tick but a blue t shirt or yellow t shirt with a Nike tick on it is still Nike. Emblems mean more. They are what you are remembered by. When people see a certain emblem their mind associates with a particular organisation, club, business. A colour dont have the same effect as colours are used by many. A logo is special, a colour aint.

In your mind maybe. For me I'd rather the blue. It's all about opinions.
Cardiff didnt always have the bluebird.
You imply in your post that you're a real fan because you don't support a colour, are you trying to say that those who want the team back in blue aren't real fans? If so, poor show!

Telling the fans that we will have a blue away shirt and then just never bothering to wear it.

Ill always be a City fan , can't be anything else, it's part of my identity and itll be very painful to stop but can't support the rebrand.
This whole issue has decided fans like no other.
We've all got principles and our breaking points about certain things, I certainly prefer blue to red, but can't see the point in bleating on about it all the time, when there's nothing that can be done about it!
Yes, you have done far more than me and probably most of our fans evidently, but then the rebranding doesn't irk me as much as you or some other fans, because Cardiff City is more than a colour or a badge to me and when I first went to watch us play as a kid, I can't even remember if I knew that we played in blue or not!
I went to watch Cardiff City, as they were my local team to the Rhondda and it was Cardiff City who I supported, not because we played in blue and not because we had a Bluebird as the main focal point on our badge!

You support your local club like me but a HUGE part of the identity of our club is blue and subsequently the bluebird, which was adopted by our fans as our nickname during a different era, a different generation. I'm proud of that! The fact that we chose our emblem, influenced our badge in later years after naming ourselves the bluebirds. That is what identity is all about, something to cherish. Not for some though eh . That's what I find most galling

I have seen 4 badges in my time, various shades of blue home kits, christ knows how many away and recently 3rd kits. All the time were Cardiff City.
Chants change, kits change, fans change, grounds change, fortunes change and owners change. The one thing that hasn't changed in 105 years is the name, we are Cardiff City........
If its not your Cardiff City any more sorry but evolution means it will be somebody else's.
