The Malaysian flag display is disgraceful and underlines the dangers of selling to foreign owners who seem intent on inflating their own egos. Cardiff are Welsh so no problems with them parading their flag, but unless you are are intent on being the Malaysian franchise this is step to far. I don't think they parade Russian flags at CFC, and I know that Abramovich stopped the Russian Katusha song as it embarrassed him. Truly why?????

Yeah the Malaysian flag count to Welsh was 4-2.
To be fair when we were mocking the flag a lot of the CCFC fans clapped along.

And apparently its the Chinese New Year of the snake. Not something you will learn at most trips to the footie

Treason!!! You cant say that!!!

It might be construed that other Cardiff City supporters thought the same
and weren't actually applauding anything Anti-Malaysian :o :o :o :o

Shock horror

Cardiff City win 2-0, comfortably, and nobody tried to assassinate Vincent Tan.

I was in the Ninian 117/118, and quite a few people around me were clapping.

Annis, not at the game today (work commitments) so don't know about the singing. But I do get a little confused over the Malaysian Flag issue :?

Every time we go abroad (i.e. England  ) to watch our team, do we not drape dozens of Welsh/CCFC flags over the front of the stands as a 'sign' of who we are? :?:

Surely, the Malaysian Flag in the CCS is Vincent Tan's show of personal/national identity in a similar way? ;)

Just a thought :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I clapped around the Sam time because one of our players had got up from a dodgy tackle.

We had another owner a few years ago who changed our badge, it reverted back to the
old one a couple of years later. Things change. We were on the brink of the club being
wound up because of previous owners mismanagement. I'd sooner watch the Club play
in red (for now) than the other alternative which would have probably meant that the
Club I've supported for 30 years lose its Company registration and its name. Not one of
our supporters has come up with a viable alternative..because there was NOBODY waiting
to pay our tax bills or clear our debts. Cardiff City AFC might have had to reform as
Cardiff United... then all our history is wiped out in an instant. No FA Cup win, no FA
Cup finalists, no League Cup finalists, No Cup-Winners Cup Semi-Finalists. We can be
blue again... But if we'd gone to the wall, we could NEVER have been Cardiff City AFC!!!
Do you get that? I doubt it.

Having one of 'Britains richest men" as your owner is a bit like when we had Robbie Fowler
as a striker. A waste of f*cking time if he doesnt do the business!!

As for the 80's you thick carrot inserting wanker....

you never did a f*cking thing here and Cardiff used to bring it to Bristol City and Rovers
year in year out. Your f**k all.

Go enjoy the lower leagues!! We'll BE Premiership, we'll STAY Premiership...

and we'll be Blue again soon!!

We would NEVER have been Cardiff City AFC

If there's one thing you can't change it's history. You certainly can't sell it. Simply a cheap line to try and wind us up but alas it seems to work on some.
