why. The scarf did not say Cardiff City or have a bluebird on it so you might as well wave a red sock as it has no connection with us.

I took one as did a fair few of our support - probably thinking that was all we were going to get out of City on Tuesday. (Some of us actually put the scarves on and wore them through the match). I never expected to get anything out of the game - and it was a bit of a smash and grab, both goals against the run of play.
It does seem weird seeing Cardiff play in red after all those years in blue - but at least it gave us the chance to wear our home kit against you instead of the green and black away monstrosity that we have.
I wondered if there's going to be a new nickname like the Red Dragons or something and if the red is designed to make the capital's football club have the same colours as the national team - but it seems strange to change all that history and tradition overnight.
Whatever the colour you wear we would rather be in your position at the top of the table than ours just inside the play-offs - the title is yours to lose, basically. I think you'll be there at the end of the season and in the Premiership. Thank you for your hospitality (off the pitch particularly) and good luck with the remainder of the season!
