I said M'Bia would be the right signing and a good signing and stand by it. QPR were in ruins last year and all over the shop, hardly surprising M'Bia was part of it and of course he can play even better than those stats posted.

I agree with you mate and for £4m thats not too bad. This guy was class before he joined QPR, Barca an Real Madrid were looking at him. I think having Mark Hughes at the beginning of his QPR career as manager wouldn't help. It wasn't just M'bia who who played poor for them. Chris Samba when he got fit was poor too and i would love to have Samba at City as he is a very good experienced Prem defender and at Blackburn he showed that, i think there were a few factors as to why QPR and the players did so badly last year and it was not cause they are all bad players. If you remember that before the season started and most people realised what players they were signing, like Park, Bosingwa, Samba, Mbia, Cesar, Hoilett, Zamora and 1 or 2 others a few people thought that when QPR added those names to their Championship winning side, that they were easily going to stay up and possibly be mid table. I myself was one of them. But, there were just to many players in that squad that were lazy, selfish, big headed and a few who were there just for the money. Yes, Harry took over half way through and did a lot better than his predecessor but by then the writing was on the wall. They had their worst start for years with Hughes as manager and he is not a very good man manager of players and he was probably the biggest ego in their dressing room. If Harry was manager from the start and not Hughes then i think QPR would have stayed up. So, i think that just cause M'bia had a bad season does not make him a bad player and i honestly think if he were to come here with Malky as manager, Medel alongside him in midfield and with the fans fully behind him, that he could thrive at this club and have the best years of his career at our club.
