Malky only apologised if he caused offence, thats it.

Dropping the claim doesnt mean f**k all either, he's obviously received an adequate offer from Tan to drop it. Which says more about Tan than Malky. If Tan was so sure he had Malky by the nuts he wouldnt have offered him anything.

I really couldnt give a f**k about him, i just find it funny how he says he apologises to any if he caused offence, yet people on here think he's saying sorry to tan for being a f**k up

He was in it for the money like the vast majority in football.

this court case wasnt stopping Malky from working.........not having a job was..and the apology here is significant, please show me other examples of managers being sacked and giving an apology.........DJ didnt....
your take on it is.Malky was willing for Tan to save face for a few quid.........dignity obviously doesnt mean a great deal to him then.

Re: ' MALKY MACKAY & TAN DO SETTLEMENT OUT OF COURT '

Former Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay withdraws legal claim against Cardiff City and a vast number of settlements are done out of court and a settlement has been done over his sacking.

Annis where in that statement does it say anything about settlements of sacking and a vast number of out of court settlements?

Have I missed something ?

only on her.could an unreserved apology be taken any other way than Malky losing face..Malky being in the wrong...

no..he did it for the cash, thats what all managers who are sacked do, negotiate a settlement...normally comes with a gagging order, never seen one with an apology before.........
are people saying Malky is less dignified than all those managers that found themselves in a similar spot before him?

The difference here is we were being fed horse shit that Malky was going to fight this all the way and the "truth would come out".

People were putting Malky on a pedastool and that he was different to the rest when quite clearly he isnt.

Hes out for himself, which is fine, so are most people in life, but please spare us all this "Malky is a man of principle" bollocks.

Why are you so obsessed with talking down Malky? Why do you constantly mock & belittle anyone who says anything positive about the man?

He's very probably apologising because he wants to get on with his life and career. THAT's IT!!!! That's all he gives a toss about now and rightly so. Did he not use the word IF i gave offense e.t.c.........Some cynical sods on here aye. They think there's an hidden/devious agenda to everything. I can understand why some people didn't enjoy the football under MM but all the personal abuse really baffles me

You are correct about the apology it wasnt specific or even convincing, it was a "give me the wonga" apology and I certainly dont blame him.

All water under the bridge now and I wish MM all the best for the future. But right now the last obstacle to VT completing his debt to equity promise has been removed.

Absolutely no reason why that doesn't happen immediately then Vinnie, but I won't be holding my breath waiting for him to do it.
