Dropping the claim doesnt mean f**k all either, he's obviously received an adequate offer from Tan to drop it. Which says more about Tan than Malky. If Tan was so sure he had Malky by the nuts he wouldnt have offered him anything.

no..he did it for the cash, thats what all managers who are sacked do, negotiate a settlement...normally comes with a gagging order, never seen one with an apology before.........
are people saying Malky is less dignified than all those managers that found themselves in a similar spot before him?

He's very probably doing it because he wants to get on with his life and career. THAT's IT!!!! That's all he gives a toss about now and rightly so. Did he not use the word IF i gave offense e.t.c.........Some cynical sods on here aye. They think there's an hidden/devious agenda to everything. I can understand why some people didn't enjoy the football under MM but all the personal abuse really baffles me

Why are you so obsessed with talking down Malky? Why do you constantly mock & belittle anyone who says anything positive about the man?

You are correct about the apology it wasnt specific or even convincing, it was a "give me the wonga" apology and I certainly dont blame him.

Good point.
I suppose it's all in the wording. I am apologising but only if YOU took offence.

castleblue wrote:No real surprise that a settlement has been reached and I wouldn't take to much notice of the apology within his statement as it's all part of the negotiated settlement. The reality is that the manner in which VT, and his cronies, dealt with this issue was an absolute disgrace and, in my opinion, the public apology should have been from VT to MM.
All water under the bridge now and I wish MM all the best for the future. But right now the last obstacle to VT completing his debt to equity promise has been removed.
Absolutely no reason why that doesn't happen immediately then Vinnie, but I won't be holding my breath waiting for him to do it.
