TLG is quite correct when he states that Carls posts are contradictory. I'd add that he uses a few morsals of inside information then twist them to suit his, and this MB's agenda - or some of the usual suspects on here do so for him.
The usual anti-Gethin Jenkins gets an airing before we reach the true raison d'etre of the hierarchy of this MB i.e the return of Sam Hammam.
Fortunatly I, and a couple of others on here, have noted this agenda before although I must say that this thread is the most nauseating of the lot.
Speaking of nauseating...

claude you really are something else.
carl gets the info we all want to hear good or bad, and 95% of his post are accurate, anyone who thinks the club is in a good position at present is on a different planet.
as for the gethin part, carl is being mild, from what i gather hes causing far more shit than hes worth!

Is your sole mission in life to come on here and snipe at everything.
the information we get on here changes because the info given to carl changes.
if you don't like the info or the bias towards sam, TOUGH.
i for one back Carl, this board, the majority of it's members and SAM to the hilt.
you and tlg are pissing me off with your continous attacks on carl.

I haven't attacked Carl. I have merely questioned the validity of the 'information' he supplies.
Carl seems like a decent guy, he's a good writer and a I share many of his opinions. However, much of the 'news' he supplies sadly turns out to be false. Surely you have noticed that?

No great secert mate many of us would love Sam Hammam to return.

Carl supplies very good information on here and having spoken to him many times is a very knowledgable and passionate supporter with the best interests of CCFC , sometimes the speculation is true sometimes it isnt BUT the info gets everybody talking and responding on here which is the main aim of a forum . I used to believe the local press but dont anymore and I used to take with a pinch of salt some of the info posted here last year but all came out in the end , the only dud post was the day that Ridsdale was supposed to quit and didnt ! Keep it up Carl and Annis .........................it must be good info coz Claude still comes back . At the time he left I was 1 of the anti - Sam brigade but now I feel totally different about him and I realized that his financial meltdown was due to just madness for CCFC to achieve rather than like Ridsdale lining his own pockets plus I now know how Sam was shafted and more or less blackmailed to leave

TLG you could also say that 'much of the news Carl supplies turns out to be correct' and even when he is wrong what he posted was done so in 'good faith' that the information supplied was true.
Changing circumstances are bound to lead to what looks like conflicting reports. It is unfair to hold Carl accountable for is any changes which are beyond his control as 2 weeks is a long time in the running of CCFC.
That said I would accept your point that may be some of us take the news too literally and that might be the cause of the mixed messages or confusion. Personally I'm very grateful to Carl for his info, but life has taught me that things can change very quickly and nothing should be taken for granted.
What is needed is a little more common sense and a little less bitching.

With all due respect Carl, just eleven days ago you were telling us a very different story:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16101&p=151681#p151681That's what frustrates me about the so-called 'exclusives' and items of 'latest news' which pop up on this board so regularly. They are often so contradictory it's incredible. One minute it's fantastic news and everything is on the up, the next we are a club in crisis.
No doubt I will be called all the names under the sun for pointing out such glaring contradictions, and no doubt I will be labelled a sniper yet again. But, like most City fans, all I've ever wanted is to hear the truth. Simple as that.
Tlg, and thats why if you read Carls post, he says one minute were told about Bellamey , next were told were skint, so what is GOING ON, Carl is asking the Question.

Claude, What Carl has done is sum up the whole situation in one, THE RUGBY MEN HAVE TO GO, FOR OUR CLUB TO MOVE FORWARD.
Wed Jun 30, 2010 9:05 am
Claude,
Conflicting statements coming out of club too, DJ comments to Malaysian press about tour!!
You seem to turn a blind eye to them, and try and take the heat off them by making accusations on here.
You are very loyal to certain people at the club at the expense of your personal reputation.
Wed Jun 30, 2010 9:24 am
I would welcome him back

i have no intention of using the traites of other on here to abuse your belief dave, BUT
surelly news changes otherwise it wouldnt be news, carl has pointed out issues that have since been reported on the city website and in the eggo, if they conflict its only because the info within has changed.
E.G our summer trip to malaysia, next we will be hearing the cancellation was carls fault
Claude you do enjoy abusing the freedom to post here, what you dont abuse the freedom of is staying away,
nausia is a treatable ailment, just by following the above suggestion
Wed Jun 30, 2010 4:32 pm
By paying the wages late, even by a day, the Malaysians are sending
Out a clear message what happens if they stop dipping into their
Pockets. Without their money, Cardiff City are fucked!! The eggers
Can see quite plainly that their cash cow is no more. Little shows of
Of power like appointing Gethin Jenkins are there way of saying they
Still have a say. They are playing with the big boys now though. I'm
Convinced VT has big plans for the CCFC brand. If he even suggests
He may bring new jobs to Cardiff the council will drop Paul Guy like
A stone, and the Welsh assembly would get on board too. My také
On it is that there are a handful of cronies hanging on by their
Fingernails... They will be fucked off if they get in the way, and they
Are getting in the way!!

"what you don't abuse the freedom of is staying away"
Sorry, what does this mean?
Wed Jun 30, 2010 5:17 pm
THE FACTS ARE NOBODY WANTS TO TAKE CONTROL OF OUR CLUB or BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS AT OUR CLUB.
THE LATEST IS NOBODY AT OUR CLUB HAS HAD THEIR WAGES IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN PAID TO STAFF or PLAYERS
So please tell me how I am wrong .

He's pointing out nobody is forcing you to post here.
Indeed, the fact you post little of note other than complaining about this forum, the way it's run et al leads one to wonder why precisely you'd even bother hanging around here given it's so bad in your opinion.
Then again, we both know the answer to that question.

"little of note"
What you mean is that I post an opposing view to the majority on here when such a view deserves to be aired.
Sadly that is unnacceptable to many on here.

Claude all views are accepted, but even now when a Crisis has started at our Club you wont admit it, because you want to ignore it and try and prove were wrong, WELL YOUR 100% WRONG ON THIS, THERE IS A CRISIS AT OUR CLUB.
Wed Jun 30, 2010 6:05 pm
If you actually read my various posts on this subject you will have noted that I did not deny a potential crisis.
I'll repeat what I said. If the Malaysians decide to "cut and run" then we have a crisis.
I do not regard the cancellation of the tour, or even the late payment of salaries (as long as they are paid) as a crisis.
What I argue against in this thread is the return of Sam Hammam. It is clear that you are desperate for this man to return, for reasons that are obvious to most. To that end you regard the current situation at CCFC as a "crisis" as it suits you current raison d'etre.
Too many on here will follow you blindly whereas I will continue to question were true motives.
As you say, "all views are accepted."

Wrong.
You post 1% discussion material, 99% "why did mods do this / freedom of speech not welcome / etc".
It's frankly quite tiresome,we know full well the motivation behind it. If this site was every bit as bad as you are claiming, you'd not waste your clearly valuable time on it. Unless your whole rationale for posting here was merely to complain about it, which, based upon your posting history,is an entirely justifiable view.

Taken from today's Echo -
And what of the near future? Cardiff City have to find £1.5m to pay Sunderland money they are owed on Michael Chopra. The deal was £500,000 down, £1m a year later (which was paid) and the remaining £1.5m in 18 months – and that timescale is up in July.
If the Bluebirds fail to pay Sunderland their cash – or reach a new agreement – then they face the danger of another transfer embargo.

You really can't have it both ways

Claude, all the players are contracted to be paid on a specific date. If the club fails to pay them on that date then they are in breach of contract and so a player could walk if they so wished. I'm not saying we've got a Ronaldo who wants away but I think it's still a very serious situation to be in. Another club could easily pounce on one of our players because they are well aware of contract commitments.
Wed Jun 30, 2010 6:26 pm
Except, Claude, the Echo took the bulk of that article from, errm ,posts here ,mostly by Carl.
Oh wait, I must clearly be pro-Hammam by posting the above...

For anyone to criticise Carl for this post and say they contradict each other is a disgrace!
Carl share's what he learns and undeniable that is done in "Good faith"
Just because unbelievably after getting rid of that Tosser Ridsdale, we still don't know the difference between our elbow and our arse when it comes to running our CLUB, it's hardly Carl's fault that the CLUB is so shit in getting anything right, that certain things then become "UNTRUE"!
As for the Malaysian Tour being cancelled from what I had heard and seen it was a certainty to go ahead - Didn't think I was that big a mug! (no clever replies to that please
)
Keep on posting Carl!!
