Millers looking good
Nothing clearcut as yet but Rotherham are enjoying the better of proceedings. Isiah Brown is a presence up top and the Millers are looking to find the wiry Chelsea youngster whenever they can.
O’Keefe battling hard in midfield - that’s what we like to see.
Bit of an edgy start from both teams - understandable given both their league positions.

Rhys Healey has scored on his full Newport County debut against Cambridge.

Whitts leaves it this time for Rickie Lambert, who curls the ball over the bar. (0-0)
Sat Sep 24, 2016 2:17 pm
It’s Lambert who takes it but he blazes it high and wide. Decent start from Cardiff, but I have said that pretty much every game this season....
Almost a howler from lee Camp who kicks it straight at Craig Noone. Thankfully for him the deflection is kind and he can gather safely. Lucky for the Millers that one.

Its All Rotherham now
Another Halford long throw and another chance. This time he picks out Brown who heads at goal to win a corner.

Amos makes a great save to deny a fierce Rotherham free-kick. Lively start this

Great save!
Great save Ben Amos. Cardiff didn’t deal with a free-kick and Amos did well to block a ferocious drive from close range. Well done lad.
The long throw is then headed towards goal by Izzy Brown and O’Keefe blocks. He wasn’t really picked up there. Bluebirds living dangerously.

Cardiff under the pump
Set-piece after set-piece. Rotherham right on top now.
Cardiff under real pressure here and nearly cut to ribbons. They are fortunate that a good cut-back doesn’t find a Millers player.
Breathe.

Newell's corner forges another chance for the hosts. He gets it back and slides in Fisher whose cutback doesn't find Ward in the box.

Is it 433 Annis?
Sat Sep 24, 2016 2:23 pm
| Ward does well to nip in round the back of the Cardiff defence and cut inside to shoot. He bends one at goal which Amos holds well.

Amos again in the way
Smart save from Amos after a Danny Ward effort takes a slight deflection. Cardiff look brittle at the back, to be honest.
Sat Sep 24, 2016 2:26 pm
Huge intervention from Lee Peliter. Brilliant clearance at the back post from the right back as the exact same thing happens again. Ward running amok here. Cardiff need to tighten up... But they’re not dealing with the Millers...
Excellent save from Amos again! Cardiff are having a shocking period here. Now Izzy Brown blazes just wide. They’re dancing through the Bluebirds.
Sat Sep 24, 2016 2:26 pm
I'm confused, we have three central midfielders playing, one winger a number 10 and a striker....
Sat Sep 24, 2016 2:26 pm
Ben Amos again with a smart save as Rotherham continue to cause problems. Worrying stuff for Bluebirds
Sat Sep 24, 2016 2:27 pm
The home support is on it's feet moments later as Brown does well in the box and comes inside only to see his effort wide of the target.
Sat Sep 24, 2016 2:29 pm
Not sounding good for City at the moment.
Sat Sep 24, 2016 2:31 pm
- Immers fires wide. The #CardiffCity No.10 didn't get the connection he'd have wanted, scuffing the ball wide of goal. (0-0)

Cardiff take aim again as Noone lines one up from distance that flies over the crossbar. #rufc

Stuart O'Keefe shown the first booking of the match for a late challenge on Joe Newell. (0-0)

Great thinking from Frecklington sees him exchange a backheeled one-two with Fisher who delivers a cross which is too high and cleared.
