I doubt whether this will happen. My cousin, his former partner, has just posted that their child has joined Swansea City as a schoolboy.

As to the main post I am literally gobsmacked.
5 new players straight in would have given us the summer to gel and potentially get a good start to the season.
What we now have is a situation where no decent manager will want to join us because (a) There unlikely to be here in 12 months time and (b) they will not be given a budget - not even for free transfers.
I ask one question to all CCFC supporters
We have in the background a former owner who, in my opinion, would seek to take us to the Premier League and, from what I am led to believe, has the finances to do it.
On the other hand we have an individual who is not even prepared to authorise 5 free transfers and CCFC will no doubt become the bookies favourite to be relegated to Division 1.
People do deserve a second chance, especially when they want the same as us supporters, so given the choice of Sam or Tan would would you prefer to see in charge of the club next season?

This it totally irrelevant if the current owner will not sell.
Whether asking too much or offering too little. We are stuck.
I just don't understand Tan's take on club ownership. He MUST know the value is just going to dwindle while he takes the current stance and flirts with relegation for a 3rd season.
Anyway where is a Bale led consortium. Surely he knows wealthy individuals in the game that will back him.

Tan and his Regime do not care about City’s loyal, hard working fans

I know and its so frustrating.
There was the suggestion last year that VT was saving us to the tune of £3m per month yet here we have a situation where he is not prepared to fund 5 free transfers (£70-100,000 per month).
This time next year our club will be worth £30-40m as a division 1 club.
By then the 3 consortiums interested in buying the club will not be valuing us at £100m

I disagree with the love-in for Lamouchi in this thread. His results were poor, barely better than his 2 predecessors earlier in the season just gone and many of his team selections were bizarre. Playing Ojo etc. over and over.
Having said that, Sabri’s successor will need to hit the ground running if we are not to lose impetus versus our rivals with existing managers already scouting the market for suitable recruits besides becoming familiar with those players already in our club.

Just in from work and really shocked by this, thought sabri and bamba deserved a craic at it next season.
That said thinking back the best football we played all season was probably under Morison, shame he wasn't a nice person lol.
Results wise sabris wasn't great and I know I would have been wanting better. Admitted it wasn't his squad.
Trying to be optimistic or I'm just deluded but maybe for once there is a plan, someone's already been sounded out and lined up with a vision for next season

Agree with you about Lamouchi, he was superior to Hudson but strange team selections. Thank him but it's not a disaster losing his services, We can do better. I'd love to see Nathan Jones but i think he'd want a big backroom staff and wouldn't be a yes man for Dalman and Tan. Jones would develop a real seige mentality with players and fans. He'd definitely get the derby and what it means, he's one of us

What a mess we are in now another new manager.
Its pathetic narrow minded and reckless.
More uncertain times ahead with no structure no direction.
We will be odds on favourites to be relegated.
What on earth are they doing at our club.
A laughing stock a shambles and such a shame for all cardiff city supporters.
The misery goes on and on

Read the announcement at work and thought Tan must have Nathan Jones lined up. Out of respect to SL would we not formally announce the next manager whilst the current one is running out his contract, or at least give it a few days ?
I was on in the Jones camp anyway, so just hope it is a done deal.

Annis, for someone who wasn't sure he was the right man for the job given our results since he joined you weren't slow to say how bad a decision it is when it may or may not be the right decision. I know you'll see this as sticking up for Tan but the sooner he's gone the better & this has nothing to do with supporting him or not.
I for one & you for two were never 100% convinced of our results under Lamouchi so this couldn't have come as a surprise. Maybe he did want too much money for himself & his team, we all know Tan was never going to tell him to go out & buy any player he wanted.
