Annis, firstly, not causing trouble here before anyone else twists it but what did you think of Tan when you met him as one of the first all those years ago?
First impressions and all that mate.
IMO the next owner of our club is going to be a consortium of hedge funders led by The Politician.

I have actually said the answer to this many times Jules.

I actually thought he was great to chat to, had character and we chatted for hours and laughed.

We had some very interesting and serious chats.

He agreed so much with me.


But everything single thing he promised me , he never did or went back on it, everything, that’s part of the reason I don’t like him , he’s not a man of his word.

TG said to me personally at a shareholders meeting and later repeated to more fans, whilst he is still part of the board we will always keep our identity and without doubt remain Blue.

A few months later he just suddenly vanished from our club




I have taken unbelievable stick for years for sticking by what I knew and believed in.

I support and back any New Owner , Manager or player when they first arrive No matter what and I fully supported the Malaysians, without doubt TG.

Then I saw what happened to TG, then all the false promises to me about keeping things as they are etc and so yes I turned and started to find out everything about him and it never made good reading.
