No Rambo, no merch anyway ffs..

We're still a club in spite of him, not because of him......

Do you belive everything written on the Internet? .the reality is that no one knows what's going on with contract talks .

That's true - I know nothing of contract talks....

No I don't believe anything on the internet - been too long a fan here to read anything until deals are done.
But
I do not believe Tan is 100% City and I don't feel his leadership is good for a club of our real potential.

When I see JB's, leicester, bournemouth, brentford, burnley as more successful, better run and more unified since the mans tenure here.
So forgive ne for not trusting Tan here, over a a self serving footballers agent and the media circus.... :bluescarf:

I see many of your points but Tan is a businessman first and foremost and I’m sure he won’t look a gifthorse in the mouth, just like he won’t roll over to an agents initial demands.

The thing is everyone grabs onto any suggestion but those who do know info won’t be allowed to spread it. In truth Ramsey could have asked for any of the following for all we know - all or none of the below could be true but it’s clearly not as simple as just ‘sign him up he’s desperate to come’

Agent fees exorbitant
Salary
Length of contract and extensions
Bonuses upon output (individual ie goals)
Bonuses upon promotion
Training schedule (days off / extra recovery)
Position in team / guaranteed starts
Captain? No 8 shirt (Ralls)?
Image rights (has his own AR logo / brand)
Issues with adidas sponsorship?
Rapport with manager / coaches / game plan
Does bulut want him (be mad not to but may be negotiating with other midfielders who he also needs to give game time guarantees to)

Clearly he’s technically better than any player we have (or could probably hope to have in our financial circumstances) but for any of these reasons it just might not work out.

Personally whilst it would be huge to get him home (for the club’s sake) I’m not sure it’s going to be necessary for a successful season based on the way Bulut seems to be approaching transfers so far

Personally I think Ramsey will be a great signing for us.

Yes he is past his best but its not like we are a top 10 team in the league. He will still be above average where we are now playing. Adding to that with the road runners of wingers we intend to bring in and the hard tackling midfield defence Ramsey will be the icing on the cake to produce those Whittingham style passes that will set us up for a many a goal. Its a shame Vincent Tan does not think this way.

Dalman promised us fans that we would be jumping for joy with in a week, well at least 2 weeks have gone by and Dalman needs to deliver.

Every contract of this nature stalls its not your normal free transfer, its the players last I'm guessing , its certainly a massive one for the club . It's not like booking a holiday .

As far as I can make out, he is currently on a personal training plan as his season ended late effectively with Wales fixtures.

Bear in mind, he has to relocate from Nice and have time with his family before heading off on tour to Portugal with the boys :bluebird:

The longer this saga goes on, the chances of Dubai, Qatar or Saudi Clubs sniffing him out increases.

Such a naive post.

Why don’t you have a read of Swindonblues post above and realise transfer are not always just sign on the dotted line!

Paul, you are spot on!

People on here seem to believe this signing should be a cinch but it isn't; and the club are best saying nothing until they have something to say... :ayatollah:

It's a joke mate, based around Dalman's excitement about exciting news at the Bulut Press Conference.
