The longer this goes on the more unconvinced I’m becoming. I hope we get some 100% concrete decisions one way or the other so we can move on.

If he comes then I’ll be over the moon. If not, I’ll be gutted for a while but we gotta move to other targets, pre season is fast running out.

It helps if you don't believe everything you read. So much speculation but at the end of the day it is just a business transaction and these things take time. I don't for one minute think the club is deliberately trying to build up the fan's hopes only to let them down. It is quite obvious that a deal is close but I certainly won't lose any sleep worrying whether AR will or will not be joining us.

He might have triggered the option for another year but my understanding on these things is it still requires all parties agreeing to it….he hasn’t agreed to stay on which Nice will know full well…..end of story

I really hope AR comes home.. As stated before, we need STABILITY this season and we need someone in the middle who can play that killer pass. All of our midfielders are very similar in playing style.

At the time the contract extension was active (No. of games played). L'Equipe were saying that HE (Ramsey) was about to trigger the 12 month extension.

Also when you think about it. Who is being tested with such a clause?

It will be the player that will be given the opportunity to extend IF they proved their fitness by playing a certain number of games.

This clause is to stop players gaining an extra year off the back of a season of few games and injuries. It's their incentive should they choose to take it.

Monty, I don’t understand why you’re ‘peeded’ off?

Why do you think all parties are stringing fans along?

According to Annis this transfer is all signed up so why not have a bit of patience?
These things are sometimes complicated and take time, can’t you comprehend that?

Look at Declan Rice and his transfer from West Ham to Arsenal for example. It’s all done and dusted and has been going on a lot longer than the Ramsey situation but cannot be revealed yet for whatever reason.
