I think what people are saying is that the OP has put out numerous posts over the window about being ITK and has a very very low success rate. I have absolutely no problem with people posting rumours they’ve been told and actually find it quite funny at times. I don’t believe anything I read on the internet about rumours until I see it on the club website. To say just ignore the post, it’s a forum they are entitled to read it as they’ve come on here and are obviously interested in transfer rumours. So why are they not allowed to voice their opinion on the matter which in this case has been the correct opinion. Im sure if it wasn’t a moderator who was posting it, most people would be questioning them also. I seem to recall Wez getting similar treatment when he used to put out rumours if my memory serves me right it comes with the territory I guess.

It’s really quite sad how so many people on here, more so the Moderators that claim to be ITK. You’ve made yourselves look like idiots. Instead of sitting back and letting the club do the announcing, you need to satisfy your egos by trying to claim you know what’s going on.

The two players that were coming in was always dependant on their clubs getting, their new signings in, and we all know
(well some of us do) that those players did not come here because their clubs deals fell through.

I think most people on here are grown-ups and take these threads with a lot and I mean a lot of salt,they are knockabout fluff stuff.

We have to go back to the heady leak fuelled days of Carl to truly believe any ITK posts.

The club has been tight for a while when they want to be, I have no doubt some stuff gets leaked to create some misdirection when in fact they are looking at someone else and some stuff is out there to test the water, especially by agents.

I assume there were "just in case" medicals, in case plan b or c was enacted then they'd be signed by 22:00.

Your self itk is about zero right now tbh when in truth its guess work as its always '"player or players" coming in which is not uncommon in football clubs. Anyone can make the basic cack up in a post or spout names that have been said across twitter or online somewhere many times before its just yours seem to be "defo signings" that didn't exist. I can probably guess if a player had signed it would have been "I told you so" yet didn't know who it was to start with just "players" again anyone can do that if it materialised. Stick to twitter roumour and say what u see don't pretend you know 100% like this very thread. That would help people replying like this.

For you to backtrack to try covering your backside saying they were "always dependant on their clubs getting their new signings in" is disappointing and makes you lose a lot of credibility and respect.

To be fair, Annis was honest saying he was given duff information with his post about a player having a medical. That's fine, it happens and at least Annis was honest about it.

Personally, I think it's great the club have tightened up the leaks and there is less risk of potential signings getting hijacked.

I reached a point and had to say something, sticking up for newbies, people who were belittled giving out the same info, even threatened with being banned! So explain to me how much information is required for a so called 'rumour' to be accepted as 'sound information at point of posting'?

Name, rank and serial number of the supplier?

A sworn affidavit?

A video of them saying it?

A lie-detector test?

You see the problem? With ANY story run on any media platform is that the information put on there will always be a mix of sound, flexible and false information that cannot be clarified until the event does or doesn't happen...

It doesn't mean the unformation was incorrect, it often means it simply doesn't reach an agreement, as was the case in a number of attempted deals this window just finished

Don't doubt we were close to signing Keiffer Moore or Danny Batth, for example, as both failed late on because their parent clubs failed to recruit replacements

I trust that like most on here, Igovernor only ever puts out what he is told. He doesn't have to and if you knew him you woukd know that he is not about being anything other than a provider of information as he knows it; and anyone who believes he needs to name his source(s) lacks understanding

Okay, so let's take your post in sequence. There is no point missed, as I am simply referring to your poor post...

Firstly, your use of language towards any member, albeit Igovernor on this occasion, is well below standard and a lack of acceptance of that alone is somewhat telling...

Secondly, your point that 'others' have stated exactly the same information (also without revealing their sources) is often testament to its accuracy at that time; and your ascertion that some kind of indicator of said information 'must'be provided is rather naive at best. There is little that gets out these days (no one accepts that more than me) but if you seriously think any source (in or out of the club) should be named, you are definitely naive...

Thirdly, there is plenty of substance in much of what has been reported but it doesn't always come to fruition; and I'll give you a recent example where Forever Blue was given information in good faith but apologised later when he realised it was wrong. That is how it works or should do at least. No one is infallible but it doesn't mean mean-minded people have a right to slate the provider in the tone with which you did...
