Patson Daka’s proposed loan move to Bournemouth has reportedly fallen through at the eleventh hour.

Daka, out of favour at Leicester City since Enzo Maresca’s arrival, looked on course to join the Cherries with a loan agreed and the Zambian heading south to undergo a medical. But widespread reports say the deal now won’t go ahead, meaning Daka will head back to City.

There could still be an opportunity for the striker to leave, with transfer windows still open in countries like Saudi Arabia, Greece, and Turkey for a few more days, but otherwise Daka will have to bide his time until January.
