Its the same for all clubs even the swans have managed to sign a brazilian winger ffs
and yes i know how difficult you keep telling everbody on the forum every day.
Thanks, Monty; and I certainly do...!![]()
Equally, you now effectively have a 'Daily Monty' thread where you bemoan things you have no real knowledge of...
You're not the only one, to be fair, but you are amongst the most prolific on the subject and also amongst the least willing to understand the complexities of January transfers and the club's efforts to get the best players possible without being held to ransom...
Also, watch this space of Keiffer; it ain't finished yet...!

All this “will he won’t he” speculation is just that. If KM doesn’t come , was he ever in the first place , same with the other potential signing.
The club appear pretty watertight these days , so I’m hoping what ever deals are done were concluded some time ago.

Bournemouth have been 'reluctant' to let him go; but that has now changed and they are hoping for a bidding war...
Moore himself, wants to come to the Bluebirds...
Time will tell, if that happens...

This may stop their move for Ilic, especially as their first bid was rejected.

First bid rejected? They bid, turned down then decided to stick with David?
Does that mean that the talk yesterday of them offering more ££ than us was probably BS?

If that's correct we'll probably get him if we want him, although we still have a chance of Moore instead, interesting to see what happens, we should be playing one off against the other.

Bluebirds 'still leading race'
Cardiff are, meanwhile, still "leading the race" to sign Valerenga Fotball’s Andrej Ilic before Thursday's deadline.
Yesterday it was reported Ligue 1 side Lille were ready to gazump the Bluebirds and land the striker ahead of Bulut.
Reports in the morning suggested Cardiff were on the verge of landing him, but TV2 later reported that the French club could outmuscle Cardiff. They claimed Lille entered the race to sign Ilic and tabled an offer, which reportedly includes quicker payment for the player and more guarantees compared to the Bluebirds, which could see them lead the race ahead of Cardiff.
Now, in another twist, TV2 state (via SportWitness) that the Norwegian club have rejected Lille’s offer of around €3.75million in fixed fee plus bonuses.
Lille are not reportedly offering to include a sell-on fee, which the Scandinavians are unhappy about, putting the ball back in Cardiff's court. The Bluebirds "lead the way in the battle to buy" the Serbian, the report adds.
TV2 journalist Arilas Ould-Saada said on X: "Vålerenga have rejected Lille's offer (€3,75M + €750.000 in bonuses) as the French club doesn't want to include a sell-on clause in the deal. That means Cardiff City are still leading the race for the Serbian striker, although no offer has been accepted by Vålerenga yet."

My gut feeling is we’ll sign him (not ITK, just what I think).
But I won’t be surprised if this goes all the way to Thursday.

I'm thinking they'd have agreed it by now if they were. This plus the fact they're keeping their main striker means they're 'drifting in the market' i hope

I am not a fan of the current owners but perhaps this does show they are trying
