Kieffer is a great player in this league and will be a bonus to any team even Leicester if he were to join them.

But, this is when the big boys start to motor and after slower starts Leeds and Southampton will get going.

Personally I think this is a no brainer for both Moore and Ipswich.

They get a proven Championship goalscorer with no obligation to keep him if they go up.

He goes to a team going well and has a chance to get another promotion.

Doesn't matter wont be missed! But one thing for sure he won't be 1st choice striker in premier league team next season that's if a club would want him? And at least we won't sign him again?

Allan, I don't respect his ethics, but I think he would have been useful here until the end of the season...

It will be interesting to see how his Ipswich move pans out; but I honestly believe his impact will be minimal in a promotion-chasing team that will now have to change a winning style...

I still have Leicester and Leeds as my automatic promotion teams, with Ipswich and Southampton battling it out for the play-off jackpot...

Chris yes be good at city but I have stated previously not a fan of his .... personally dont think he is good enough to be regular premier league striker ! Yes does score goals but overall his play is not of sufficient quality to be 1st choice at any club..... as for Ipswich said previously expect them to fall away and still think so.... Km will struggle to get a club who will pay 40k a week....I am more than happy with striker we got in fact think he's better suited for us than km.

Good, past his best and don't need sulkers in the squad. Time to build a squad around players that give everything on the field.

Kieffer Moore is excited to get started at Portman Road following his loan move to Town.

The striker became the Blues’ fourth and final new arrival of the January transfer window when penning a loan from AFC Bournemouth for the remainder of the season of the season on deadline day.

The move sees Kieffer return to Portman Road for a second spell, six years after his initial exit in 2018, with the 31-year-old potentially making his second debut for the Club at Preston on Saturday.

“It’s great to finally get it over the line – it's been a long time coming,” Kieffer told TownTV.

“I remember my first spell here so to come back now is something I’m delighted about. It looks like there has been a little bit of change so I’m just excited to get going.

“I knew about the possibility of a move here from the start of the window and it’s ended up taking a while, but I’m delighted to be here and now be able to play.

“I was really excited by what everyone has been telling me and I can’t wait to get going.”

I think we will regret not signing him. He can do a good job in the Championship, and will probably score a few goals to send Ipswich up.

I don't share your optimism tbh but we'll see I suppose. I was put off by the comment that he was hoping to come to cardiff to get fit for the Euros! No thanks.

I hope I’m wrong now he’s signed for Ipswich. Hopefully Diedhiou will get some goals as we are a bit desperate upfront.

I'm absolutely gutted we didn't get Kieffer in because he's a top top player at this level and we need more than 1 striker capable of scoring. That being said it's an expensive deal for 3 months for Ipswich but they are in a position to really have a crack so it makes sense for them.
I love Cardiff but sentiment aside I probably would have made the same decision if I were in Kieffer's shoes, regular playing time ready for the Euros and a realistic chance of getting another promotion on his CV.

Personally not bothered he didnt come.. striker signed is better fit for us I believe... also bulut from the time came here as been contradictory nearly every time speaks which as caused confusion ......eg moore illic and bekitatas was reported to be his targets and as we've learned none were close to coming? As for moore limbo spring to mind as he is not a 1st choice starter in premier league so where is going after Ipswich?

Chris, we both along with a minority have said about his attitude and that speech shows it, so much for his * unfinished business at his home CCS *.
Move on now and I think we have a descent striker on the books who will suit us better.
Ps. Think Broadhead is nailed on starter for Wales now as KM will be second fiddle to him at Ipswich.

He is Bournemouth's player and Ipswich payed what they wanted

Good player but Ipswich going in big on the loan, easy decision for Bournemouth.

One issue I always have with him, for a tall guy his heading accuracy can be awful. Many times he puts easy chances wide.

No brainer for Bournemouth to let him go to Ipswich
- Paying all his wages
- Paying £500,000
- Pay a bonus if they go up Let’s say that will be a minimum of £1m

Now I am sure we could have matched the top options and we could have easily put the promotion clause .However if you were a gambling man you would think Ipswich are more likely to get promoted than us.
Also if they get promoted Bournemouth will have a player on their hands who on paper who has another promotion. under his belt which will add to his TV value.
I do believe Moore would have been an asset to us but not really sure that when Ipswich came in that he was ever coming to us Think that was Bournemouth choice over Moore’s
