You say you like the guy, yet you persist in calling him names & belittling him at every opportunity & I don't get why. I doubt very much he's going to get us far after this season but that doesn't mean I'm going to call him names while he is here trying his best, he's done nothing to deserve it as far as I'm aware.

I don't agree, maybe Omer Riza is the manager to take us to the Premier League.
I expect us to stay up this season.
Every manager has to get their chance somewhere. Riza has been given his with us and he is still learning.
He will have learnt a lot from this season and that means he won't make the same mistakes next season.
I think he'll need a few more young signings and at least one more coach.
But if he keeps us up, he will stay and he could be the man to take us back to the Premier League.
Well done for saying what you think. If he keeps us up he'll be our manager next season I think.
And take us to the Premier League Martin![]()

I can’t wait to see who keeps posting this shite to remind them next season as Riza gets Sacked by Xmas.
Will you say sorry if I'm right and Riza takes us up next season Annis?
I really believe with the right young signings and another coach, he will come good.
Remember that Malky, Warnock etc all got their chance somewhere.
Riza definitely will be the manager next season and I believe he has what it takes.

Riza takes us up to the Premiership, Ned, I will buy you a season ticket.
Listen of course the Clown at the Top is happy with him, and will probably keep him. He’s cheap, a Yes man, puppet and Tans ambition is that to stay in the Championship.
Pathetic

Our squad is bottom eight standard and since he took charge, we are 17th. So doing about right.
Shows with a top six squad he'd have us top six.

You mean our position says 21st
No the team / squad are capable of being Top 8
Current League Table does not lie.
This includes his honey moon period all new mangers get.
Riza will just about keep us up, then should apply for Newport County managers job.
This team should by now be 8th.

Table does lie because he wasn't manager at the start of the season. He was a coach, but that doesn't count.
17th since he took charge.

Ned,
Riza took us over after being assistant knew the Squad well and then took charge and has kept us in the Bottom 5 all season.
He defends beyond , loses us points and keeps saying “IF IF IF IF”.
The fact is Riza you have a lot of good players and your inexperience does not get the best out of them.

I'll say it again, we have a bottom eight squad and under Riza we're 17th.
He's doing just about where our squad our in the league.
I don't think others would do much better, some would actually do worse.

Our squad is top 8 quality according to some.
We produce the best players in the championship far more than any other club, no one competes with us.
Despite the club allegedly also being rubbish at recruitment and not producing a star player from the academy for 45 years, according to some

This isn't as crazy a post as many are saying. I too believe we will stay up, the squad is too good to go down.
As you say, every manager starts somewhere. We all know the story of Fergie nearly getting sacked in the 1989-90 season but was saved by Mark Robbins goal against Forest in the cup. Let me make myself clear, I'm most definitely not comparing Riza to Fergie but Fergie did struggle in his first 3 years at United. Unfortunately Managers don't get that much time anymore.
For Riza to be a success with Cardiff, he needs to be more attack minded from the start. Our defence is not good enough to rely on sitting back for the first half, we usually then have to chase the game in the second half.
We were originally told Riza is an attacking coach and we saw that in the home games against Plymouth and Portsmouth. Where has this attacking style gone?
It's been mentioned on here that Tan contacts him many times before, during and after a game and that Riza is a yes man. Maybe the only way for Riza to establish himself as a good manager/coach is to grow a pair and tell Tan he's going to do it his own way.
If the Plymouth and Portsmouth games are an example of Riza doing it his way, then maybe Ned is right.
