Anything is better than Labour theyve done A PR on us.
I will be Voting Tory, I know it annoys people but at least I am honest.
Also anyone who will put a halt to immigration I would also Vote for, at least I am Honest.
"Halting immigration is a complicated one because we need it it certain aspects of the economy. For instance Wales and England do not produced enough doctors (not anywhere near!) to satisfy the needs of the NHS etc. Same with nurses. So until we can start training enough doctors and nurses we will need to bring them in from elsewhere. In the 50's and 60's if it had not been for the Asian doctors we would not have had a health service in the valleys."
Fully agree with that AB, similarly the folk from the West Indies comming over in the 50's to work on London Transport, etc as there were huge labour shortages due to reconstruction after the war. I've had the privilage of meeting quite a few of the years and one, Herbie, a great bloke was even considering voting the BNP or it may have been NF was quite a while ago. He was intending to return to his homeland as both he and his wife had retired, the kids had all grown up and he wasn't in particularly good health. He heard that BNP (or NF) would pay repatriation costs for people such as himself to return "home"! He died not long afterwards so I never did find out if he was serious or more likely, taking the piss!!
"As we are in the EU so cannot stop people moving to the UK from these countries in masses... wrongly in my opionion although some people from other parts of Europe have an excellent work ethic compared to many UK nationals. I have a Greek guy working for me and he is brilliant."
Shirley thats a good thing though, works both ways. I'm working in Bulgaria althought thats slightly different as it is an EU funded project we're supervising.
"For non-EU immigration I think we need to stem the flow from Pakistan and places like that as there is absolutely no reason for them to still be arriving here unless they are needed for key positions. Immigration into the UK from Africa is absolutely tiny.. literally handful and most are asylum seekers which are a different kettle of fish. Working with many asylum seekers I totally understand and accept they need to leave their own countries I just think that collectively the EU member states should be sharing responsibilities and not letting the responsibility fall on the UK due to an inadequate government, control and policy."
Thats the major issue with most people I think. Its not the actual immigrant comming to work in the UK, we'd be up shite creek without them, but their extended families that seem to accompany some of them. Quite why the UK still allows certian nationalities into the country fairly easily whilst for others it is very difficult. Also on the "asylum seeker" issue one thing I can never understand is the hordes of such folk gathered around the channel tunnel entrance/exit who are trying to desperately to get into the UK, fucked as it is. Isn't France good enough them? Or any of the other countries they pass through, there must be something attractive about the UK for them to try so hard to here, quite what i don't know!
For illegal immigrants it's really been a failing of the government to not control and eject people who are illegal here. Shame on them.
But you reap what you sow. In Uganda during the 2nd World War, when Uganda was a coloney, we took the Acholi people and made them fight for Britian - they were excellent at jungle and desert warfare. 1000's died fighting for Britian and we have given them very little (in fact we have made their lives worse) in return. They are still proud of being involved in the 2nd world war and helping Britian but basically feel shafted.. which I totally understand.

By the way the BNP would get rid of all ethnic minorities eventually if they got in power, even people born here and who have lived and worked here all their life.
This is the party that said the likes of Rio Ferdinand,Emile Heskey, Ashley Cole etc shouldn't play for the english football team because they aren't english, despite them all being born there and lived there all their life.
I'm voting for the green party out of protest.

They had 5 Councillors voted in, one was then a convited Wife beater who had to then step down and Labour won the by-election, one then moved over to Labour shortly after the By-Election and one never turns up to meetings. The Lib Dems are a joke.

the biggest joke is ukip
their leader was battered on question time for his personal offensive attacks at the european parliament
ukip are finished on the national level after that
simple as that
I'm sorry to say but the public are starting to see through Question Time Sludge. Having attended with Adam yesterday the programme makers took the questions of everyone and choose who would ask them. The vast majority of a chosen audience were either Labour or Plaid supporters who were still at University and never had a proper job in their life.
The reaction this morning after last nights programme is very similar to the morning after Nick Griffin was a panelist and that is the programme makers set Nigel up and we were there and seen it with our own eyes.
And for your information UKIP in Merthyr is growing from strength to strength
