Why do we have to protest??? Who says??? If Steve Borley says don't protest, that should be good enough for all true Cardiff fans. Surely he knows more than us and so is in a better position to judge!!

I know this is your Board Annis but how can you say the stuff highlighted above then SB himself comes on here and we can all clearly see that what you said is not true. SB has CLEARLY not changed his mind about demonstrating tomorrow (and for very good reason). And as for the bit highlighted in red we CLEARLY WILL hear SB asking us to calm down because HE DID later in the thread.
It seems to me that it's you who wants a demo. What are your motives? Why do you ignore good advice and risk putting off potential investors? There was a maximum of 500 demonstrating after the Donny game out of a crowd of 19k. That says it all. You appear to have a small following on here so why not use your influence in a positive way.
I have a son who suffers from Muscular Dystrophy. It's a terminal condition. We don't know how much time he has left with us. He is Cardiff City mad. My one big desire is for him to see Cardiff City in the premiership. I hope your actions don't reduce the chances of that happening.

If you read the first line of Annis' post it includes the words 'I believe' in other words it is his opinion based on what he has heard and he is not stating that is definitely Steve Borley's position.
Frankly we all do that, sometimes we get it right but mostly we get it wrong however that is the nature of a message board especially if you are a regular contributor.
If you are to continue using Message Boards then you have to understand the difference and not imply that those who express an opinion are deliberately trying to mislead people for their own agenda. Frankly I'm offended (& I'm sure that 99% of other regular users are) at your assumption that we would be so easily influenced and couldn't make up our own minds.
Finally I'm sorry to hear about your son's condition but I am also sickened that you resort to using such a terrible debilitating condition as emotional blackmail to get your point over. Personally if I was you I would spend more time with him rather than trying to unfairly knock others who only have the clubs welfare at heart.

Sickened Tony ? Way OTT!! The only reason that I mentioned my son's illness is that he means so much to me that I want him to see Cardiff City in the Premier league before it is too late for him and I don't want the actions of a minority of people to endanger that. How can that possibly sicken you?? And as for your comment about spending more time with him I respectfully suggest that you keep your views to yourself. How can you possibly know how much time I spend with him? I do everything I possibly can for him and feel deeply offended that you could say such a thing. And at the time I wrote the post he was in bed !! So I wrote the post in my own time.....of which I get very little. I won't go into the detail of exactly what sort of commitment that takes to look after a severely disabled person because you will no doubt think that I'm trying the emotional blackmail thing again but believe me it's an enormous commitment and there's no need for the cheap shots!!
I thought that the whole point of a messageboard was that it provides an opportunity to express a view on something. But if by expressing a view that is different to yours you twist things and insult me it's not worth the bother. My view is that I don't think a demo will achieve anything. SB has asked fans for calm which is the opposite to what was suggested on here. Am I not allowed to point that out without suffering personal attacks??

Bigbluebird I have just lost all respect for you whatsoever.
How do you know I don't know what dibilitating illness is like? For your information I do but I wouldn't ever use it to gain sympathy whilst slating another Message Board user. I suggest you read the rest of his post, he claims that Annis deliberately didn't tell the truth over Borley's position for his own agenda and then tagged his ill child on the end to give it credability.
If you find that acceptable then it's not me that's pathetic.

I kind of agree with you here Tony, whilst its terrbile that the posters son has this illness, I think the way in which he rightly or wrongly worded was out of order, I may have interpreted it wrongly but the way I read it is that if I protest and that in some way impacts on possible future investment and Cardiff City dont make the premiership then I should feel shame becuase of his son.
As said it may have been typed wrong or readw rong but thats how i see the comment.
Anyway enough turning on each other this isnt CCMB.
