Gestede. He runs and closes down and makes it harder for teams to play out of defence. Bothroyd made it easy as 9/10 at this point he was still on the floor crying about a broken nail.

There is no doubt that Bothroyd is the more talented player but the problem is his attitude, application and certain character traits. Lying on the floor for 3 minutes sulking won't help his cause.

Rudy may not be the finisher or technically gifted player Bothroyd is but he tries his hardest and as fans thats all we ask.

It's an old poll made not long after Jay left us and Gestede hadn't played enough to realise quite how shite he is.

Bothroyd for me rudy seems a nice guy with the right attitude but in footballing terms they are on different planets

Two things if I may.

Those saying Rudy works hard, do you actually go to the games? (No need to answer that one Barnett)
He often has the crowd on his back for not closing defenders down and trots about like a stoned giraffe whilst Bellers is chasing down from one side to the other. He actually feigned injury against West Ham last year after the crowd went mental on him for losing the ball and not chasing down the defender.

Sorry, totally disagree. We are not a pub side and he is not a kid. We could get thousands of willing participants from the crowd if "trying our hardest" is all we can ask. We turn up and pay our hard earned money (well some of us do Barnett), and apaying to watch a team with designs on promotion to the premership we can ask for more than hard work. We can ask that our players can at least control and pass the ball at this level. Sadly Rudy cannot.

Isn't Harry playing Mackie over the likes of more talented players just because of his work rate? I think he is. People just like making these types of players scapegoats. Liverpool fans did it with Kuyt when he was actually one of their better players.

As for Polo's snipes against me, easy when you work mate and live close to the area and can travel. I am away from Cardiff and money is hard to come by but there you go, you'll never accept that. I make as many games as I can and miss the football a lot.
