Peter well prepared for the EGM then.

SO WHAT IS THE POINT OF A EGM

Christ they take £2.6m off us and then treat us with utter contempt, it's totally unbelievable.
Wed Feb 24, 2010 11:32 am
I think it's insensitive that they can't inform those of us who have paid money about where that money is going! I am now confused. Part of me still believes Borley knows best and that he knows stuff we don't. I can't help but think though that this club isn't going anywhere with Ridsdale involved. I'm so confused!

Looks like it was just a walk in a park for Ridsdale.
Bet he got a grin on his face that matches a Cheshire Cat.
I can't believe Borley, can't f*cking believe him.
Any news on Guy at all?
Did he have anything to say?

Are we any the wiser following this meeting? Only in finding out that they are all as bad as each.
It was important they were put on the spot and at least now its crystal clear that the whole board and major shareholders are all in this together....They have all done very nicely from the land gifted by the City council...they have only ever been interested in making money from development...the football team is an inconvenience for them.
We will get a detailed report of the meeting later and post it on the Trust messageboard, plus we wil get news from the shareholders that attended,we need to hear their views because they were actually at the meeting.

To allow the club to sell off more assets in this case!

The only assumption I can make now is that, it would cost too much to get rid of PR. Does his rolling contract mean we'd have to pay up £500k to make him go.
I will start a whip round with £20

You meant to allow the board members to profit more off CCFC back

The reason TG is not a registered director is because the forms were filled in incorrectly
Flitcroft on the ST's : of course we knew about the debt when the ST's went on sale. I am sorry and we made a mistake
Wed Feb 24, 2010 11:41 am
Flintcoft was just honest and said " Of course we knew about the debt when the season tickets went on sale, I'm sorry and WE made a mistake"
Wed Feb 24, 2010 11:41 am
My theory is they wanted the season ticket sales to cover the debt but were going to use some of the leftover money to purchase loan signings so they could cover all areas. However, the debt got bigger and they found out they couldn't afford the players and their plan got rumbled.
I refuse to accept an apology over that. We were lied to, screwed over and for that an apology isn't good enough. Especially when it's so poorly communicated and not genuine.
Wed Feb 24, 2010 11:43 am
i think we are a lot wiser since this meeting borley used annis to keep everybody quiet then stabbeb him in the back in front of the meeting showed his true colours today

Agreed Zabier they could have marketed the season ticket offer on the basis of "everything raised above £2.3m goes to Dave Jones for team stregthening"
Not sure if it would have been as effective, but it would have been honest.

Yes, that's what i think aswell.
Why say all that stuff to Annis over the phone, then shoot him down like he did today.
Must be embarrassed to say the least.

Well I'm sorry but to me that statement suggests fraud.
They knew they had a tax debt to pay off and they therefore went to raise money from the only source they had, the fans. Either way you look at it, they either lied to us to get the cash or they continued to trade whilst not viable as they had not paid their creditors. Fraud.

So is that it, the micky mouse circus like EGM finished.............?
Wed Feb 24, 2010 11:53 am
EGM, GHM , GJT, KKK, CALL IT WHAT YOU WANT, I SAID IT BEFORE, ALL YOUR GONNA GET IS RIDDLER SAYING HOW HE SAVED OUR CLUB, BEST SQUAD, F.A CUP FINAL, ALL THAT CRAP!
NOTHING WILL HAPPEN, THEY DONT GIVE A FOOK WHAT US FANS THINK

That is just outrageous. We all knew that and the Riddler bullshitted his way around it. To hear it in black and white (so to speak) is just unbelieveable.

True,
but by the sounds of it they were still sure they would be getting external investment from somewhere.
Although they knew about the debts, they were obvioulsy banking in some other money coming in along with the ST cash.
( not that I'm defending them
)

That's the exact naive and assumptive attitude that got Leeds in the mess they were in. He's not f*cking learning his lesson.

They gambled and they failed, yet they still hang around like a floating turd.

Dissapointed to say the least, however did think the board may have this EGM sewn up before it took lace, looks like the fans have been played.

I think the EGM was worthwhile...It proves now that you cannot trust any of them.

Oh how I'd love for some individual to pick off shares a bit at a time, slowly building up power without paying over the odds for shares. Divide and conquer. A bit like the guy at Arsenal.
They can leave PR until last and offer him a bag of shit for his shares
