He didn't just get banned. Several of us bundled him into a white van and took him down to Billy The Gimps farmhouse in Magor. Billy has been very "busy" and has basically buggered him into next week. Apparently, his arse is in tatters and currently resembles a plate of steak tartare. Billy reckons that by Sunday, RM will be shitting through his ears.

I don't know, but i hope its true. I could do with a good laugh!

just like the rest of football is laughing at you for letting your clubs identity being ripped away from you!!

it's sad that because of how true this is, we have no comeback any more :(

I'm not looking forward to being the laughing stock of football.

Stop talking shit ffs, No one is laughing at us. Get a grip.

Apart from the exact post i quoted.

Deny it all you want, it hurts me as much as it does you believe me, but i'm not naive enough to think we're not gonna be a laughing stock next season

If it were any other club this happened to, we'd be winding up their fans at games as much as anyone.

One teams fans in taking the piss out of another team shocker. What next? Calling the ref a c**t?

Are you of the impression that this is unusual? Have you ever been to a game?

I must admit with all the arguing and heartache surrounding the rebrand it has never crossed my mind how away fans will react to it. I suppose that just means, I DON'T GIVE A SHIT.

Re: MONK NEXT SWANSEA MANAGER

To be honest, if he walks, I'm gutted. Laudrup is an egotistical self opinionated idiot with a shit record and attitude at managerial level who puts his emphasis on defensive football and it would have been almost a 100% given of him taking them down.

If he walks, I feel as a bluebird, that our enemies down west have dodged a mammoth sized bullet. Laudrup would have taken them down in my book so I'm praying he stays and has not walked out.

If Monk is to take over, if the rumours are to be believed, then you have to wonder if morale will be high and respect will see them through. He may not have his badges or be proven but sometimes as long as the players in the camp play for the manager you can grind out results. Its a mutual respect.

I can actually see Swansea playing better under Monk than if Laundrup stays. Laudrup is an arse and egotistical idiot because of his own inflated opinion of himself as a player. He was a great player yes, that does not make him a great manager. John Barnes and Paul Ince are testament to that.

I hope Laudrup stays.

It's amazing then really that so many of the players who have played under him previously want to do so again eh?

Laudrup has repeatedly said in interviews that he is looking for us to be more attacking this coming season and this has shown up in the pre season games so far.

Sorry if that spoils your party.

Of course you are right, it will have 100% nothing to do with the contracts he has offered them in comparison to what they were earning.

And Dave Jones said repeatedly he'd try something different and give the youngsters a chance. In the end he had no plan B and poor Adam ended up going to Celtic on a freebie because stupid Jones wouldn't give him playing time. Managers say all kinds of crap to keep the fans happy.

His record speaks for itself. Enough said. Its terrible.

Sorry if that spoils your party.

So you're now saying that we're paying more than the likes of Genoa, Mallorca and Villerael?

That's probably the only time Dave Jones will ever be compared to Michael Laudrup in his life. How many times have you seen a Laudrup Swansea team play? Answer = 0.

His record speaks for itself. Enough said. Its terrible.

Try as little research before posting.

Edit: congratulations on editing your post so the quoting made sense.

His win record of his last 2 clubs averages around 29%. That is diabolical when you compare it to a premier league club. He did that in 2 leagues, one with a strong team, one with a fairly average team but still, both leagues aren't as tough as the prem.

He will be lucky to get a 30% win record at Swansea and whilst that may keep you up that is the max I believe you can obtain.

Which would turn out as around 13 wins so 39 points plus draws so you'd stay up.

Im going to say you'll end up with about 10-12 wins and numerous draws getting between the 38-45 mark. Whether that keeps you up I don't know but you won't have the success you had under Rodgers. Laudrup is nowhere near the manager Rodgers is and once Allen goes your horse will bolt and your shitty little cart will start to crumble from the pressure of the high speed premiership race.

Your success has been down to not attacking, keeping he ball and keeping the game tight concentrating on not conversing goals, and hoping you can pinch a goal on th break?

Brilliant if he has changed it and you are going to be more open, I wouldn't be surprised if players are pissed off with him in that case because they will have a fear that he is changing too much and will probably know ghat it won't work :ayatollah:

I am looking forward to this season.......

Gareth (Wilts) wrote:Personally I think Carl is on a wind up. However huw the spews luck in appointing managers may have run out. Martinez was an inspired choice (massive risk at time). Sousa was poor but he did sort out defence and lay foundations for brenda. How Leicester wanted him is a joke and fairplay to jerks for getting compo for him. Rodgers did a good job-alot was down to links with chelsea and sousa's defense work coupled with Martinez good work. Had Sinclair and Borini not signed I doubt that they would have gone up. Rodgers will fail at scouseland (horrible club). Swansea have done well to get huge cash out of this deal.

Laudrup was a top player but top players don't always make top managers. He will attract good players to the liberty but if allen goes they will really struggle to play their passing game especially without caulker. Next season will be tough with qpr much better plus wet spam, reading and saints very competitive. Hopefully the jerks will go down but they won't go down as easily as we would like.

Laudrup did well at Brondby and in struggling teams in Spain, only the Russian job he failed at - he was on a hiding to nothing from the start. Let's remember that Rodgers didn't exactly have a glowing record before coming to Swansea,

We will continue our passing game without Caulker and Allen as the heartbeat of the team is Leon Britton. We already have a replacement for Alllen in Kemy Agustein and a fantastic new signing in Chico Flores to replace Caulker. Allen is a great player but we can manage without him and will use the money wisely to strengthen.

I watched the highlights of the pre season tour and Flores really stood out, very strong and athletic - could surpass Caulker, great in the air and nice to see him grab his debut goal. John De Guizman is another very good signing, deadly at set piece and he can certainly pass the ball well. Looking forward to seeing more of Michu in midfield who got 15 goals in La Liga last season yet we got him for 2million! Judging by what Sid Low and other la liga experts are saying, could be one of the buys of the summer!

As for the Laudrup rumours, all started by a kid on his computer aimed at getting followers on twitter. I know for a fact that the players have no issue with Laudrup at all. He has their respect in full and they can't wait to get started. Obviously a few players will be disappointed as he cuts the squad down to 23 or 25 players, but that's football for you. 30 odd players is far too big a squad and we wants to pack it with quality over quantity.

Refreshing to hear that Laudrup wants to suprise teams this season by changing a few things when needed, he won't give up our style of playing but, if we need to go more direct at times in the game then we will (a plan B that the previous manager refused to entertain).

As for teams going down, West Ham look very one dimensional - can see big Sam getting the sack. Wigan - will they yet again be lucky or has it finally run out for them? Reading - a real yo-yo club, spending big in the inflated UK market and could panic buy in january if things look ropey.

Going to be an exciting but hard 2nd season, if we have more points that games played, we'll be ok and that's good enough for me. ;)

Caulker is better than that nobody, Sigi was better than that other nobody (he kept you up massive signing for you like Borini was the year before) and Allen is better than that other nobdy you mentioned, Rodgers is better than Laudrup........

A very interesting season, I am looking forward to it........
