Good post mate and one i entirely agree with.
I loved watching city in the late 80's and early 90's but it had nothing to do with the football on display, but more to do with the fun that came with it.
Like it or not those days are long gone and watching city in front of 3k in the CCS would break my spirit i think!

I loved going to ninian park but it's gone and football has changed for the worse up and down the country in my opinion but at least now i get to watch players who are actually better than me!

I'm behind Tan and though i think it was a mistake changing to red i do believe he deserves to be cut some slack considering he was the only one to bail us out when were on the verge of liquidation

ok, but like i said would not have wanted to put it to test would you?? simple fact is, we had income of 5mil expenditure of ten mil (exsample) that was not sustainable and only leading to one thing.

If it meant saying blue and using current badge, I'd have preferred that. I do appreciate that my views on the rebrand are a lot stronger than other fans though.

Not sustainable, but still confident enough that the Malaysians would have restructured and found additional investment (as they outlined when they first said they weren't going ahead with rebrand)

Why would anyone invest in a club that the Malaysians could and are funding on their own, surely any potential investor would be thinking, if it's that nailed on, why are they looking for outsiders to share the risk, but also the profit, we couldn't find investors when we only had a foot in the debt bucket, why would some come forward when we were up to our neck in it ?
