This whole episode was the beginning of the end for Malky Mackay, & unfortunately, the opening up of a can of worms,,,,its all well documented.

Fortunes in football can change very very quickly, for the better or for the worse.
There are plenty of big clubs, some ex Premiership, now in the lower leagues, who would testify to this!

There was plenty of positivity around this signing at the time though. looking through the comments it seems most if not all were in favour.
