What do you mean by that? The only money that comes into the club is what the club earns, we dont do loan notes from investors. Any monies generated are from that of the Swansea based company - you dont get more local than that.

Losses in the championship? You think any losses were covered by foreign loans?

Got any proof of these losses (promotion season apart for obvious reasons) and ill do some digging for you.

But to suggest our club isnt locally run and funded is lunacy.

maybe run locally but now premier funds are not local, shirt sponsor is not local, dug out + bench seats are not local funded! ect ect about only thing funded locally is match ball! :laughing6: spew & frends put in pennies after club screwed local buisnesses (admin) now he takes healthy dividend from club,

The majority of that loss were liabilities as a result of promotion bonuses which were paid when the first of the bi-annual premier league instalments came through. Any other losses that year were covered by Martin Morgan.

So they weren't that obvious to you then

The premier league money covered it wes, come on you arent that thick surely. I asked you to leave that out for OBVIOUS reasons.

The £8m loss was as a result of promotion, promotion bonuses etc triggered at the final whistle - if we didnt win we wouldnt have made a loss. Yet if we did win any losses would be bared with the the premier league TV money - which is why we then posted a £15m profit the year after

All EARNED by the business based in Swansea. None of those investments but locally generated monies.

If I was a Swansea based business selling carrier bags and one of my customers was in India, it would still be a company funded entirely locally as ling as I wasn't taking any foreign loans and generating my money from the business.

Those local businesses that were "screwed" have benefited hugely from the CVA.

A point that is always conveniently ignored by Cardiff fans.

Here is a snippet of an interview with Vice Chairman Leigh Dineen.

Still, it's always overlooked/conveniently ignored on here eh?

Spot on.

I said many times on here no company went bust, the vast majority are now doing far better out of the CVA than ever before and Swansea have looked after those companies. A football club is a cash cow for a business, to take 5% of the full value owed for services over the course of a year for a secured lucrative contracts for the next decade is a no brainer. Which is why these business voted "yes" to the CVA.

No businesses went under. The money owed was to Inland Revenue, Mel Nurse and The St Johns ambulance, all of who voted yes to the CVA. Under the agreement of the CVA funds cannot be paid in full even though we could pay back them 10 times over right now. Ask a trust member and they will happily give you a very short list of who the funds were owed to and I can guarantee none was owed to local businesses who you say 'we screwed over'.

Proof of what? Proof that businesses went to the wall as a result of the CVA? Good luck with finding that because it doesn't exist.

 Just want to see if there's proof, as people have been shouted down for not providing proof of companies going bust, but there's counter arguments of companies that didn't go bust without proof, just wondered if the statement can be backed up.

Re: There is one thing that is very positive regarding Tan/C

So you want proof that the companies that you say went bust, even though you can't name one, didn't go bust as a result of the CVA?

Name some businesses that went out of business as a result of the CVA. You can't because there aren't any. The Swansea city board have been more than clear on the issue. It's time to stop peddling lies and misinformation to score petty points on football message boards

No smoke without fire they say. I just want proof that every company involved with Swansea at the time didn't go bust. I've heard otherwise. If you can prove it to be false, then that's fine. Case closed. If not, it's a bit of a contradiction as some posters on here has been shouted down at as they can't prove that Swansea made local businesses go bust.

Re: There is one thing that is very positive regarding Tan/C

So every rumour and hearsay is fair game as long as it backs up your assumption and your assumption remains correct until someone can correct your baseless assumption with fact. That's not how this works.

You have to base what your saying on fact. You can't assume whatever you like because you've heard rumours and no one has corrected you lol.

So you can't provide proof that no businesses involved with Swansea during the CVA period went bust then?

I base what I say on numerous fans opinion on both sides, more than enough to say that there is enough element of truth to it. Hense the 'no smoke without fire' claim. It applies to most stories in civilisation within reason and logic. I just want some clarity as fans who claimed that it's true without evidence have been shouted down, yet we're meant to believe it's not true without evidence. Get what I'm saying? Got to have have the same rules applying to both sides of the argument.

Yes please, id love some. You cant have evidence of something that doesnt exist but if a company went under there would definately be proof of this and would love to see it.

Exciting times, not often do we get clearly wild accusations backed up with proof, first time for everything! :notworthy:

Well technically you might not actually get proof as the company wouldn't exist  just wondered if you had proof of no companies going bust etc from the CVA period. Judging by your post, you can't neither. I'm just wondering that's all. There's plenty of opinions about it happening and not happening, but none actually showing proof either way.
