Will Etien Velikonja ever get his Cardiff career up and running? If he will it'll not be until next season at the earliest as he's gone out on loan again.

If he returns it could be a surprise, if he does he'll not feature next season will he?

Since singing for us for an undisclosed fee, claimed to be as much as €3.6m, from Maribor in the summer of 2012 the striker has made only three appearances for the club and hasn't featured at all for us this season or in some time.

I'm fairly sure that two of the three, if not all of the three, appearances came in his first season with us in 2012/13 with the last of them on the final day of our title winning season when he was hauled off at half time against Hull when he didn't impressed on that occasion - it does make you wonder what was thought when he was signed....

Velikonja will spend the remainder of this season in Belgium with a loan move to Lierse S.K confirmed this afternoon.
