Sounds good. I'll be there. I would bring a mate or two but this is strictly AAMB! I wouldn't trust them not to defect!

You are correct about 1st Paragraph 2nd sentence!!
This is your event – we will simply prepare and mark a pitch at the Athletic stadium and provide a member of staff to assist there and at the stadium where we will provide changing rooms.
If you want 2 games (perhaps @ 30mins each way) a penalty shoot out for kids etc its upto you.
In addition if you want to bring a burger van or Red dragon to the Athletic Stadium I will have to ask permission because while we can use the pitch I can not grant permission for other areas of their site – please let me know what you want to provide.
What I require is timings so that we can let people know what is required for changing at the stadium (you can also have some group photos pitchside if you wish) and how many will be in attendance and what time you will want a bar to be open to and from.
I understand why you asked about the kits but they will not be released.
Regards
Wayne

Wed Jul 07, 2010 11:01 pm
why subs for training? why not use the £2 subs to contribute towards the £20?
Wed Jul 07, 2010 11:02 pm

FISH. wrote:why subs for training? why not use the £2 subs to contribute towards the £20?
Fish i had an email from FA say no to racism...they have offered to do games with the kids and donate raffle prizes and loads of other stuff, but they need £70 to pay the FAW for this one particular game and so the £2 subs will pay for that.....i have been posting it and asking everyone if they are willing to do this.....some have said yes and so i think it would be a brilliant day for the kids too
Chippy i tried asking them to make it a Friday but only you & ur bro were up for it, so have to go with the majority, and if people can turn up for training then they have a better chance of playing...hope you dont mind
Do you fancy being a linesman?

Not really.
Even if you are a sub for the game is it still £20?
Wed Jul 07, 2010 11:14 pm

Wayne did ask me if i had 4 teams (2 either side) about playing 30 mins each...not sure on that though

im up for it yh.
You will have to make sure if you have subs they atleast get like 30 mins. Coz they wont wanna pay £20 and play 5 mins.

I think priority should be given as follows...
1. Those who went to training and the last game.
2. Those who went to the last game.
3. Those who go to this training.
4. Those who just turn up for the game.
Charge £20 each and make sure everyone gets at least 30 mins as Chippy said. It's impossible to please everyone Hughesy so just figure out the best way, possibly above, and then stick to it. Not everyone will get their way but that's life.

Guys having been down today and in the premier lounge it is going to be a good day especially for us players, Having tried and failed as a youngster to become a footballer this is as close as it get's. Let's make it a great day and then if all goes well and the club are impressed with the amount of money we have raised we will have a good shout of maybe being able to play on the actual CCS pitch come the end of this season which will be amazing.
It is a lot of money to come up with for a game of football but we are getting a lot I think and it's all going towards a good cause for the club and more importantly us fans, For when that statue goes up of Fred me and the mrs can stand back and tell our kids and so on for years to come
we help make that happen.
