Cardiff are straight up the other end though and Immers looks to be in one-on-one until Wilson makes a timely challenge in the box.

Frecklington make a salmon-esque leap to head away Lambert's effort at goal from a Cardiff corner
Sat Sep 24, 2016 2:41 pm
Close! Richards plays it in to Immers on the edge of the box, who lays it off to Ralls, @Joe_Ralls' thunderbolt drifts just over. (0-0)

Lambert now creating havoc, impressing as Cardiff's number 9 now

Stuart O'Keefe has won 3 tackles so far, no player on the pitch has won more.

No change in the scoreline as we approach half time. Four minutes until the break and still 0-0. #rufc
Sat Sep 24, 2016 2:45 pm
It's farmed out to Fisher again on the right who stands up a cross to the back post which is inches above Brown's head. #rufc

There will be one minute of added time played at the end of the first half. #rufc

0-0 Half-time
HT | Millers 0 v 0 Cardiff. #rufc have had the better of the opening half. Ward and Brown with two of the most notable chances so far.

Scoreless at the break
A few scrappy exchanges at the end of the first half, as Greg Halford drills one across the bows of the Cardiff defence, but Morrison does well to divert it to safety.
The Millers are looking dangerous from set-pieces. Newell’s delivery has been really good.
That’s half-time. Goalless but not chanceless, that’s for sure.

Browns cross towards Ward goes out for a corner!

Cardiff getting a chance to build from the back but Rotherham are quickly in their faces.
Greg Halford’s long throw is proving problematic. It would be horrible for Trollope to see his side picked apart by a set-piece.
Rotherham start second half well
Not great defending from Cardiff as Izzy Brown dances beyond Matt Connolly. Morrison squirts it away for a corner, which is eventually cleared by the Bluebirds. Immers blocked a Frecklington shot.

Second half
A procession of #rufc attacks are dealt with by the Cardiff defence.

Joe Ralls fires over. Cardiff struggling to make clear inroads here
Sat Sep 24, 2016 3:13 pm
Ralls fires over. Peltier and Noone were making good runs in support so maybe that shot wasn’t the best option...

Taylor stands over the ball as he prepares to take a free kick from just outside the box. That flies straight over the bar.

1-0 to Rotherham.

This is depressing

Goal for @OfficialRUFC. Izzy Brown with the finish at close range. City behind. (1-0)
Sat Sep 24, 2016 3:21 pm
Rotherham have the worst defence in the Championship
Sat Sep 24, 2016 3:23 pm
O'Keefe unable to keep his shot down after Lambert's headed past
Sat Sep 24, 2016 3:23 pm
Stats show we have not had one shot on target.
We do deserve to be where we are.
Don't seem to be any improvement in City at all...?
