Ralls isn’t up to the new style of play just isn’t quick enough to pass the ball and too static when compared to the passing and movement seen last weekend

Ralls give the ball away way too much

Not a bad half considering the fact we had to change our LB after 5 minutes. Took us a little while to get back into our groove but it was pretty even thereafter. Unfortunately we have not been playing the ball into the channels and seem to be taking too much time with the ball. I’ve been a huge fan of Ralls, but he seems to be a bit of a stumbling point with our new style. I know he’s only really played a few minutes before today but it was a poor half from him. Front 3 have looked pretty good, albeit with very little chances. And we look pretty solid defensively.

Basically 2 new players in our back four and the high press catching us out a bit.Ralls is a bit static and expect him to be substituted 2nd half.
Hopefully we rode our luck with some of our dodgey play out football and can go on and insert ourselves a bit more second half.

I think most people knew ralls would be a weak link in the style being talked about by Morison. you need a ball player in that position and someone who shows for the ball and knows what he is doing next. Ralls never gets a quick pass off unless it’s because he is is panicking
