Brilliant first half

Somerville goes to ground and Leeds cry foul but the referee has none of it and blows his whistle for half-time moments later...

An excellent first-half from the reconstituted Bluebirds and they go in deservedly ahead...!

Well I don’t know what to say after that first half. It’s like a completely new team. There’s quality attacking and the togetherness and fight we’ve show as a defensive unit has been amazing. I’m not going to get carried away yet though. Bowler starting off where he left off last season, and Ugbo has been immense and has shown why he’s been given the starting job. Big shout out to McGuinness too, he was an absolute rock in that first half.

Great to be 0-2 up but we still seem to be a bit careless in giving the ball back to them and the 71/29 possession stats bear that out but winning is winning. Could have been a different story had Gnonto's clever flick hit the target. Couldn't be happier or more surprised with the scoreline though.

O'dowda doing what he does and showed grant how to play left wing great pass been dissapointed with grant on the left so far.but what a result so far.

Good first half but this is Cardiff I am sure something will happen that leaves us biting our nails again.

Keep defensive break and counter attack with pace. Calum Robinson to come on too

Great first half, although I'm not to sure with playing the ball out from the back, it makes me nervous on occasion. The tactic seems to be working tho

Reading the comments by Gareth Vincent on the BBC website you would think he's either a JB or a Leeds fan. Not particularly anti Cardiff but very pro Leeds. Where do they get these clowns from?

Grant been poor so far. Would rather Ojo, at least he looks dangerous at times.

Great pass from Ng sees Ugbo on his own but his shot goes high and wide...

Good effort though and encouraging as Leeds realise they can still be caught out...
