A mixed first half from the Bluebirds but not without their own chances; with maybe the best going to Callum Robinson with a header that hit the Baggie bar…
HALF-TIME SCORE: WBA 0 - 0 CARDIFF CITY (45+2 mins)

Not a bad first half. It’s good to see us trying to attack away from home.
Couple of changes needed to get us more into the game second half.

We're lucky to be level.
That said, we do look dangerous when we attack.
Ref giving us nothing, will have to play around that.

Decent half. We've competed and defended well. On the counter attack we look a threat but balls into the box have not worked. Still unconvinced by Al Ghazi. His end product is poor. Colwill struggling to dictate the game like he has in recent weeks. All to play for and can get something from this game.

All the talk of wba injuries their line up is very strong and on paper better than us. Done well first half to still be level.
A point today would be superb but we have threats to nick it

Albion Lowest scorers at home out of 92 clubs, they can’t score
We have some very very good players and as much quality as them

We have ridden our luck, the ref is a bit special.
Al Garzi looks like he is getting to speed but I agree never any end product, maybe Willock who'll tuck in more may be the answer. It's close, could any way

I agree
El Ghazi end product is letting him down

We should be 3 or 4 down by now despite playing much better than earlier in the season with WBA missing some sitters, can see why they're not scoring. Colwill looks to be struggling but he's certainly trying to make something happen so I'm not sure if he's out of sorts or they have him well covered.

No matter what end score is think this game shows riza knows how yo set up team without being ultra defensive... whilst albino gave had best chances with better final ball we could have been in same position of should have had 2 or 3 goals... strange one is corners around 10 to 2 it seemed every time they went forward the ball would hit defender and go behind

Good performance so far.
Got to keep it tight in defence and hopefully catch them on the break.

Callum Robinson missed a sitter
Sat Oct 26, 2024 3:14 pm
Fucks sake Robbo, what a miss. We still need a goalscorer.
Sat Oct 26, 2024 3:15 pm
Robinson should be hitting the target there, poor.

It took a deflection on the way to him, probably put him off but it certainly looked a sitter at first.

He’s got to be scoring that, can’t have any excuses

The fact that they’re 5th in the table shows how far we have come under Riza up to now.

NG needs to be subed he's on final warning.

Albion pressing but we are holding firm. Could do with holding the ball a lot more

Alnwick fouled under pressure
Mowatt collides with Alnwick after a heavy touch from the Cardiff 'keeper.
The home fans don't like that decision
