I've never seen nothing like this in my life! A penalty given linesman gave it reff was miles away

Penalty to Coventry for handball.

Knew we wouldn’t hold onto this, was obvious
Blatant pen too!
Silly pen to give away.

Spot on. Radio Cymru said exactly the same and that it wasn’t a pen. So annoying, after what sounds like a decent performance.
6 mins extra time.

Has he? Was a blatant pen.
Chambers arms were up away from his body!

James Bell and his team pencilled in for league 2 next week. What a joke... not one to throw hate at refs usually but f**k me what a shit show they've put on today

Definitely a penalty all day long!
Chambers has blocked it, his arms are away from his body, and it’s struck his arms.
Was unfortunately stone wall.

It was a penalty, not that the ref saw it but the linesman did & told him to give it.
Siopis takes a boot to the face & has to go off, ref very slow in stopping the game for a head injury.

I don’t think he could have done much from two yards, I’ll have to watch it again. He’s given Coventry everything all game

Never a pen gutting for the players who have been excellent 2half
Sat Nov 30, 2024 4:53 pm
Fair enough, I didn’t see a replay of the pen. Such a shame and Chambers should know better.

Wtf you laughing at? As blatant as your support for Swansea!
2ft away booted at him arm near side what's blatant about that?
Sat Nov 30, 2024 4:56 pm
Not a pen for me but what do I know

Because it’s got to a point now where I just laugh! If I don’t laugh, I’m gonna sit here and start crying whilst my 4 year old is sat in the room next to me.
It’s blatant because his arms are in an unnatural position, away from his body, and it’s then struck his arm. If his arms were down his side, it wouldn’t have been given.

Definitely a penalty. But, I do agree with you, he’s given them an awful lot today.
This season in particular it seems we aren’t getting the rub of the green from any of the referees.

Much much better effort today that’s the minimum requirement

How are you supposed to run with your hands by your side? The game has become a joke, will be a no contact
sport soon. The officials were out of their depth. Shocking and a win would have been massive today.

Well, unfortunately that’s the rule.
Completely different standard, but I’ve had the same when playing 11’s and 5’s.
I’ve stood a player up, and the ball has struck my arm, but because I made sure my arm was by my side, and not in an unnatural position, it’s not given.

Looking at the replays and the wording posted of definition of handball. I’d say harsh decision, chamber’s arm that made contact wasn’t away from his body and he was already turning his head away.
But thankfully we played better today.
Not sure if it was Riza’s intention to catch Coventry’s game plan off guard. But seeing as Ruben has been marked out of recent games as teams know we like to play through him. And since Luton they’ve put 2-3 players on him as he takes a pass. Not starting with him may have had that in mind. Did well when he came on, more so chasing and challenging than with the ball at his feet.

Would have taken a point before kick-off - But we need to see games out when leading .

They never looked like scoring until the linesman gave them a dubious penalty, the team were happily seeing out the game. I sort of get what you mean though.
