Bluebird For Life wrote:I said fromthe start that Laudrup was a poor choice for them and would probablyu take them down as well as reverting to Sousa style football. A very arrogant man despite his obvious playing talent and it seems obvious that the players don't like him, Cue mass departures I think...

However, although he plays for a rival, I fail to see why there is animosity towards Monk who unlike the idiot that is Tate, has always been fairly praiseworthy towards us. He's a half decent gootballer too - don't see why we should be giving it to him just because he is a jack.

And you are correct because of some rumour that obviously has no truth in it?

Laudrup plays a more attacking style of football to Brendan Rodgers, comparisons to Sousa by anyone is just ignorant to Laudrup's time as a coach and all it's really been based on is that they were both world class players. Wherever we finish, you are completely wrong about his style of football and have clearly turned a blind eye to all of his previous managerial jobs.

This 15 goals last season guy.

Does he only score goals or is there more to his game?

I know a young lad from my area who is in the Swansea squad and he says the rumours are bollocks. Can't see why he would lie about it.

You mean Michu?

He's very creative and will make a lot of goals as well as scoring them. Plays just behind the striker or out wide. Very good signing.

Premier league but you won nothing ever in the English system. Pathetic excuse of a club. Only Welsh club to take a major trophy across the border. :old: :old: :old:

Do Notts County, Bury and Bradford fans still bang on about a trophy they won around 100 years ago that none of them were alive to see happen or is that just something that Cardiff fans cling on to? :?

It clearly bothers people at your club. Never forget freestones autobiography showing a photo of the mickey mouse trophy you won in early 90s. There was a great quote-'at last the ghost of 1927 is buried'.

Whether you lot like it or not we along with the likes of Man Utd, Wanderers, Chelsea and Royal Engineers have all won the greatest cup competition in the world.

Course i will. Gary Monk has no managerial experiance and to be thrown in the deep end is asking for trouble. This will never happen, HJ knows his managers pretty well and allway chosen wisely to be fair

We could debate this all evening. I am proud to be associated with a club who has a proud(ish) history and although we are heavily in debt (or not if langston geyt sorted and vt swaps debt for equity-might get sorted in next decade....) We have a potentiallly great future. Our next generation of academy kids are top notch and we have a first team squad which has a good chance of going up. Equally you are rightly proud of following a team (with little history and whom I dislike ;-) ) who last season earned plaudits for playing good football and did well to challenge in mid table and do it from a debt free platform. This season is a big season for both clubs. CCFC need to go up whilst the JBs need to stay up and laudrup has a tough job on his hands to maintain what was a great 1st season.

The cup was lifted by Fred keenor. Hugh Ferguson scored the winner. Tom Farqurson was in goal. Can you name the swansea team that won the FA cup?

Why aren't you trying for Caulker again jack? He's gotta be down the depth chart a bit at spurs

If Spurs are happy for him to go out on loan, then we'll get him. He's said he'd rather player regularly for us then be third or fourth choice centre back for Spurs but it looks like he's in AVB's plans. Chico is a good signing though and a good replacement for him and we should sign another centre back or defender before the end of the window as cover for Chico and Williams.

Going back to the OP though I still can't believe Ankles genuinly believed this

You know in your heart of hearts I am correct, all of those mentioned are very hard to replace, if you are not slightly concerned you must be an idiot.

I was concerned when we lost Bothroyd, Bellamy, Burke, Jet and others for the same reason they were big players for us the season before....
