Lol @ earnshaw being shipped out. where does it end?

Tue Jan 15, 2013 2:56 pm

no offence to the club ive supported for 21 years, but firstly i dont really regard bellamy as an out an out striker he's
more of a creative player so him aside what strikers do we have?.
mason gustede and helguson - and 1.2m wasted on velikonja .
Earnshaw would of scored more than 8 goals in 27 games. its a joke to be looking at a team top of the league with a 35 yr old striker on 8 goals as top scorer (22nd lowest in the league)

when does this end, I would be concerned to see us in the premier league as we would probably break a record based on our current squad.
and that would be lowest points tally in a single a season

But this won't be the squad that represents in the premier league. Players would come and go. Therefore there is no reason to be worried about this squad breaking any records.

We score goals throughout our squad which is better than having one player scoring lots of goals. However, I do agree we need a new striker but earnshaw isn't the answer for me.

Their are plenty of positives, in this team

but we want to be the best ? then imporvement is needed we dont score enough goals or create enough chances consitantly to be a predatory goal scoring side

You can have opinions on who should be in our starting 11 etc, but I think its wrong to be insulting about Rob Earnshaw, whos been a great player for Cardiff City, scored some brilliant goals.

We're proving that we don't need one player to score all the goals for us and we're top of the league. That can only be a good thing. Earnshaw has passed it.

If Earnie was that good....he'd be in our team/squad. He was sent to Israel and yet we're top of the league by 8pts. Any more irrelevant points you'd like to make?

I think Earnshaw would have scored more than 8

But I don't think we would have scores as many as a team and prob would have conceded more as well.

We was lucky to win it tbh but hes scored his 4th goal for the club or something, the guys total gash hes near 25 years old and people are saying hes young wtf is that all about if hes not got it by now he will never have it, div 2 player at best, even at 6ft4 he can not win more headers than he loses his rates like 1/5 he wins thats innept :ayatollah:

Yet he's still in the squad and still making an impact. Even if Rudy is a League two player....is that not better than an Israeli league player?

No one is insulting him, I hold him in high regard for his first spell but he isn't needed right now, he should have never came back.

Re: Lol @ earnshaw being shipped out. where does it end?

Earnshaw never chases back or tries to close down players in their half of the pitch and never puts the effort in that Malkey requires Gestade may not be the most experienced of strikers but he chases down when the needs be, Helguson is up and down the pitch all the time! so it is a no brainer why Earnshaw is not popular within City set up.

Fact is Earnshaw way past his best.

He's lazy and shit, the team would have fifteen to twenty points less as he can't defend from the front, Malky knows best....

To say Earnie as lost his pace or to even say he's past it i can handle that but to say he's SHITE is out of order show a bit of respect to a city legend you muppet

I still reckon calling Earnie shite is out of order, hes been great for Cardiff throughout his career. If he leaves the Bluebirds now its with best wishes :ayatollah:

Ok fair point a bit over the top, but his work rate is nowhere near good enough, he has lost his pace, and if Malky was to play him he would cost us points.

A great player in his time, although he did bugger off when he could get a better deal, so now it's time for us to move him on because he is simply no longer anywhere near good enough.......

You can't give a player a lifeline for the fact he was a legend here to some fans in his first spell.

That was then and this is now.

You can say he was unfairly treated but he was never wanted by Malky and if Malky came in before Earnshaw was a target for Cardiff then I guarntee we would have got Miller and a different striker.

He has to go. 14k week for someone who ent getting on the bench. If he wants to pick up wage and also get games he needs to leave.
