Can we have a politics section please?

There are some posters on here who like off topic debate i.e. taffyapple, nukes, ohhhGa, - who all put up good arguments and I myself like to partake in the debates but surely there must be some on this forum who are fed up of these off topic threads cluttering up the main football forum.

Any chance of a separate forum that could be for politics/breaking news/current affairs stuff?

i dont see the need, i tend to stay away from the posts about immigrants and how Britain is going to the dogs, but its clear what they are from the title and there are not too many of them, i dont see the need to put another section in.

In a word NO, for f**k sake we'd have twenty different sections, if it is political or doesn't ring your bell, firstly don't open it, then secondly if by accident you do open it close it and move on, time wasted about two seconds.

There are plenty of political debating sites on the net. May I suggest you find one.

This section is called "General Chat", which means you can talk about anything in general.

I do feel passionately about the rebrand, the success and future existence of our club means the world to me, whilst i'd prefer blue, as a true and genuine fan, I have put my personal preferences way behind what is best for the club and its future.

The club and it's future is far more important than individual's preferences.

i have always found that forums with too many subsections are messy and get hardly any traffic, you go on other teams forums and top of the page is usually a post from a few days ago in most sections, i think this forum is so good at people interacting because it is all in one place, the way i see it if you dont like the title dont click it, if you dont like the person ignore them an off-topic subsection would be silly, just my opinion

This is not true. All the top 50 used forums in the world have sections. This attracts more people as things are tidier and easier to find when referring back to a given topic.

I like this forum because everything is all in one. No need to go around each and every sub forum to find a thread you may enjoy. If you don't like it you know where the log out button is.

This is not true. All the top 50 used forums in the world have sections. This attracts more people as things are tidier and easier to find when referring back to a given topic.

yes, the have more people in the subsections because as you say... they are the 50 most used forums in the world, they are going to be a hell of a lot more full than a football forum for cardiff city fc

I remember a few months ago, it was during last season about March April. The first page was full of them, all this shit about Polish in Merthyr, economy and all that bollocks. I never opened one of them. It every time I refreshed the page there would be a new one at the top. I called for a politics section but we didn't get it.

Exactly, if you should ever look at other clubs message boards and they have loads of sub sections, let's be honest, how many of them do you browse through other than the general one.
