The Cameron Jerome and Cardiff link is still being brought up by newspapers, this morning the Mail reckons the Bluebirds will make contact soon.
Jerome was a favourite at Cardiff a few years ago but then moved onto Birmingham City. Since joining Stoke he has not been given that much of a chance to shine and finds himself down the pecking order.
No doubt the 26 year old would love the chance of first team football again and at the rate Cardiff are going; a move would not be a step down into the Championship for very long.
But don't take anything for granted, this is the Mail doing the reporting and they have been known to get a few things wrong in the past.
More news out of Wales is that Swansea City, who have been linked heavily with a move for Kenwyne Jones, have acquired Osasuna forward Roland Lamah on an 18-month loan.
