Linesman silenced for telling players to thank fans

Tue Jan 15, 2013 9:46 pm

After the Man City Vs Arsenal match on sunday one of the linesmen told the players to thank the fans for paying £62 for match tickets. Since then he's been stopped from officiating the match between West Brom and QPR tonight.

I bet Arsenal and the Premier League feel stupid now

He did the right thing IMO. Fans aren't exactly treated well in football these days so I'm sure they would have appreciated it. Something has to be done against Prices at clubs like Arsenal/QPR/United etc

He made a suggestion to the players which was a good one.

I'm happy the media are giving it the hype, I just hope the arguement continues and something can come out of it.
