i loved it, except for the rap music every now and then that took you out of the era it was set and then right at the end when he is on the horse and starts doing what i can only describe as dressage

if dicaprio doesnt get nominated it will be daylight robbery

Great movie, thoroughly enjoyed it, but I can see Lincoln (very good) romping the Oscars for being more... erm, acceptable to America? Django is the better film by far, just seen this happen before. Can anyone honestly say that Forrest Gump was better than Pulp Fiction? I can't, but it swept the Oscars...

Haven't seen it so can't really comment, although I've never really been a fan of tarantino films, the scenes in his films drag on to long for my liking. Found reservoir dogs and pulp fiction really boring, he goes to overboard on trying to make his films "ULTRA COOL".

Just my opinion, but Pulp Fiction is a great movie... Reservoir Dogs is good too, but Pulp Fiction was fantastic, different to anything else around at the time, a fresh way of making movies, and then trounced by Forrest f**king Gump.

Just my opinion though.

No, yor spot on mate, it was totally original for the time, and I'm willing to bet most people who've watched it will agree with you that pulp fiction is a great film, I just found I really couldn't get into it! Guess I'm in the minority when it comes to that film along with bluebirdjm :ayatollah:

The film Forrest Gump beat to all the Oscars is now rated one of the best of all time and it's not Reservoir Dogs.

I can't wait to see it, I love all Tarantino films. Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and Inglorious Basterds are all classics.

Fecking hell! I'm monitoring all manner of sites and Twitter to get updates on transfers. Just clicked on this post as I thought we had signed an unknown striker called Django Oscar-Worthy.........

DiCaprio didn't get nominated, Waltz did - who also won best supporting actor at Golden Globes.

Is the film Oscar worthy? Yes. Will it win many Oscars? Probably not. Tarantino's films aren't really the academy's cup of tea, too violent and different for their liking, I think at most it'll win two oscars and that's for best original screenplay and supporting actor (Waltz), Original screenplay is more likely (he won it for Pulp Fiction) although for Inglourious Basterds he looked certain and ended up losing to The Hurt Locker.

Btw I think it's a brilliant film, love Tarantino and this is my favourite of 2012 so far, like the OP says everything about it's just great, I loved Samuel L. Jackson's character :D
