what are everyones thoughts on his move to Bayern?

Personally i think he is over rated by many, and his skills as a manager arent going to truly get tested at bayern either. I suppose coming from so much sucsess at Barca, its hard to see where his next move could have been, i dont think chelsea was ever an option.

On what basis do you base your opinion that he is overated?

on the basis that you or me could have one things with that barcelona side.

should make it clear, that over-rated doesnt mean "not good", but he was practically handed what was called by many as the greatest club side ever, yet he still lost the league title to real madrid.

now hes at bayern, where he will win more leagues, and get to the latter stages of more champions leagues, without his credentials as a manager being properly tested, i cant think of another job in europe where that would have been the case.

He rebuilt the barca team he inherited. Got rid of a lot of major players (Deco, Ronaldinho, Etoo, Zambrotta) and promoted Iniesta, busquets, pedro etc. To say any manager could have done it is a bit OTT

In 3 years time he'll probably walk into the Man U job too.

I think the only job he could take to really prove himself would be the Arsenal job personally.

fair enough, a bit OTT i admit, however, listening to that ginger idiot on talksport proclaim him as the greatest Manager ever is the type of thing im talking about.

Agree he will probably get the United job, which is where he will be tested the most imo

Daft calling him greatest ever. He needs to be in the game a long time to get anywhere near that label

Malky Mackay is the greatest manager ever because hes our current manager and im biased.

I don't like him. He left the minute they went out of the Champions League. Unsportsman and just pathetic.
