The Derby CEO stuck to the word of not being pushovers but for a player out of contract next season they did drive a hard bargain, maybe Brayford will have feel let down by Derby for not speaking to us but I trust Malky to get the right man in

Maybe revisit this in summer when he can move for nothing if he doesn't get sold in Jan?

We must have offered much less than 1.5 million as has been reported, as I cannot see why we would not pay the extra 500k if we genuinely believe he is a Premiership player, i reckon the gap between the two valuations is much larger.

It's all very well people saying just pay it but if MM thinks he can get better with the money then he should.

walked away a week ago, or if we are already half way down the road
to signing somebody else. We found out about Frazier Campbell TODAY
and he's signing tomorrow. Thats the way to do business!

No. They want another club to start a bidding war to drive the price up mate. They may very well lose out if they're not careful. Brayford could easily walk into a Premiership team in the summer.

Thats a good shout, very good player with alot of potential. Shame we couldnt get him in.
