Don't mean to say he will be on that here, more like £10-£15k subject to promotion bonus.

I haven't got a problem with it in principle. if you sign strikers from premier league clubs thats the minimum you have to pay them.....let's hope he's worth it though.

"Cardiff City have swooped for Sunderland striker Fraizer Campbell.
The Sun says Cardiff have beaten Hull City in the race for Campbell — by agreeing to his £30,000-a-week pay demands.
The 25-year-old striker will leave Sunderland for a cut-price £750,000."

they're not stupid they wont just throw that sort of money at him. there will obviously be some sort of deal where he may very well be on that money now but if he/the team fail to get us promoted then the wage will be drastically reduced. or the opposite where he will be on a few quid and when we go up it will be 30k. they aint thick!

Ain't Earnshaw on more than that?
Fri Jan 18, 2013 12:58 pm
Ridiculous and you're no better than QPR.Our top earner is on 25k a week and that's in the PL.
*waits for the 'we're a big club and can afford it',nonsense.

Thinly veiled 'just noticed we're actually a small club representing a town' post imo. NFQAT.

and thats why you will always be a feeder club. well run but constantly changing players will not always be a success as it has these first 2 seasons.

You better start waving bye, bye to Michu then!
With the form he is in, he won't stick around for your peanuts. Maybe we'll take him off your hands in the summer IF we get promotion?
Fri Jan 18, 2013 1:33 pm
We not paying much for him though,to get a striker of his quality u are looking at 2 to 3 mill easy,we are signing him for 600 000.,si saving money there.
Fri Jan 18, 2013 1:38 pm
that will be standard wage if we make it up. we might aswell start getting them in now, we'll need a few more of them too if we are to stay up next year so might aswell speculate to accumulate.
Fri Jan 18, 2013 1:47 pm
