Someone I know who supports Hull and is normally right about transfer stuff reckons that Malky has bid for Elmohamaday now that he has returned to Sunderland. I am not saying that we would get him and a return to Hull is more likely seeing as he enjoyed his time there and his relationship with Steve Bruce, but if such a return didn't happen I think he could be a great signing.

Not sure on the rules about playing for more than two clubs in a season/year, just posting what I've heard, anyone else heard anything?

Sunderland wouldn't recall him just to send him back to Hull, so O'Neill may want to use him.

The English FA have continuously annoyed FIFA with their use of the Emergency Loan rule. The FA have allowed players to play for three clubs ona few occasions by suggesting Loans do not count. Nicky Shorey was one of them a few years back.

Doubt they can call a season long loan an emergency though.

I believe that MON recalled him due to his good displays, so that he can be in the shop window for a permanent buyer, Sunderland are looking to sell players so they can buy some more, so any type of move would be a permanent deal. If Hull want him they'll have to pay up, but I've been told Sunderland have already received an offer from another Championship club, supposedly us.

He played the first game of the season against Man U. Came on after 69 minutes replacing Fraizer Campbell.

So it still means he has already played for two clubs.

Bollocks.The rule is a player cannot play for more than two clubs in a season if he is permenantly registered
to those clubs.For example:Aaron Ramsey was registered with Arsenal and went on loan to Nott'm Forest for a month
to get match fit but due to bad weather they only played 2 games so Arsenal then loaned him out to us for another
month.Remember we went unbeaten during his time with us.
